The ability to open a document depends upon the program/OS, not the hardware. Why does everyone think it's PC or Mac's fault if a certain document type refuses to open? I use Linux, so any software I need to open file types is free. =) Go Ubuntu!

Really? Because the only time I've ever had any problem with Microsoft Office was when I've been using the Mac version. Scrap that, the only time I've had major problems with getting important work done on a computer in general has been when using a Mac! (Believe me, I've nearly failed assignments because of it.)
