Seriously, Slaven152?? You're comparing a fountain in a mall to natural wonders like the Grand Canyon and Niagara Falls?? Surely this is sarcasm, right? I mean a technological fountain is cool and aahh-inspiring, but have you stood on edge of the Grand Canyon and looked at it? There's a reason it's described as breathtaking! And not a single computer involved in that view....
@jeffgoldblumrocks Sorry this took so long to reply to. It says you didn't reply directly to my post, therefore it didn't alert me. Yes. I was born into the technological age and I get bored with things made by nature. I can stare at the stars but I prefer a laser light star show. I've been to Niagara Falls and I liked it, but I would much rather stare at something that has many surprises the longer I stare at it. Its my personal preference. Sorry if it doesn't match with yours.
The builder, WET Design, has done many, many shows. In the US, Bellagio in Las Vegas, Americana at Brand in Glendale, CA and Fanfare at San Pedro, International Fountain in Seattle, The Grove in Los Angeles, and Fountain of Nations at EPCOT in Florida. Canal City is one of loads of international shows, biggest is currently Dubai Fountain, UAE.
Japan makes a lot of beautiful things... Theres another Fountain in a Canal City Mall that spells letters, and makes shapes using falling water and timers... Its amazing how we lack anything as beautiful over in the states that isn't made like this. We just have the same old Niagara Falls... Grand Canyon... They get boring after awhile...
wish it would have been something like this when i went to canal city.

We do have one like this... the Belagio in Vegas. As far as I know, that's it though.
