Does anyone know the piece that plays after you defeat Valigar's (I've forgotten the exact name) great-uncle in the Sphere. It's a surprisingly different theme from the rest of the music in the area, and I don't think it plays at any other time in the game, sadly.
This song filled me with awe the first time, but in my second playthrough I felt saddened. Amkethran may be a small nowhere-village, but it's the last town my character would ever stop at. Everything is drawing to a close: the Five are falling, the "destiny"-whatever is approaching, and I say goodbye at long last to the Golden Pantaloons that have remained faithfully in my inventory for the whole series. Amkethran was my favorite town and I'm glad it plays a role in the Joneleth novel.
I always loved this piece. It sounds mysterious, but also desperate and sad. Appropriate, since that this point in the game, the world is falling apart around you and you are all out of friends.
the first game you start out in Candlekeep and are like oh god so this is what the world is like. Finally getting to Baldur's Gate in the end you realize how provincial everything was.... then BAMM youre kidnapped by Irenicus and wake up in Athkatla and no one gives a fuck who you are. thats a truly byzantine city. you face some of the most powerful enemies in the realms and save your divinity.
@jerzkid87 By the time you get down into the wastelands south of Amn everything has gone to shit and you know nothing can change till blood runs everywhere. and this song IS that mood. the pacing in brilliant
@OfCourseMrGlinko The remake will not ruin the original game, it can't. The remake will most probably disappointing, but the original game will be left untouched. That's like saying "my childhood memories have been destroyed", sounds just as stupid.
Ave!
Jestem fanem Baldurów i Icewind Dale'a...
reminds me of the Outcast desert theme.

A Baldur's Gate III that follows the same story and game principles would make MY LIFE!

Honestly the Shadows of Amn Soundtrack was cool, but the Throne of Baal OST was REALLY something special.

@Terlin1466 Not a remake as much as another game in the series.
Baldur's Gate III perhaps.

@Terlin1466 remake will ruin it.
