yes i have driven a mk2 rs focus on the road and on a track i work for a ford dealer and went on a training course at the at the henry ford centre back in june last year the ford is a better car and that is a proven fact

er no lets talk vag 1st the golf gti is not better than the rs the gti is the "old mans car" renaults fall apart after 200 miles and brake down on a regular basis they always do bad in reliability tests and that is a FACT vxr ok in a straight line but show in a corner and oh dear better call out a recovery truck

It's not just a case of a getting an ECU map and an exhaust. Giving it more power than what vauxhall intended you obviously know more about cars than their vxr engineers do when they built it. Only a matter of time before the engine goes kaboom! Chipping your engine can lead to lots of niggley problems. (Though im sure the official 888 chip upgrade that keeps the warranty valid is the most reliable option).Get a faster car if you want a quicker one.

Hey dude, I have the superchip remap stage 3 and intercooler with full Milltek on my Astra.

It's not about wanting a faster car, I love hot hatches and have done since the early '90s'.

I look after my car and get it serviced every 2,500 miles at Superchips U,K . Why spend £50,000 on a car when you can get the same peformance AND, reliability on a £20,000 car.

I have just remapped mine and had a full milltek system fitted. 300bhp, will pass sti's and keeps up with my mates RS4. Standard, the VXR is O.K, but fit a stage 3 remap and get a decent full exhaust system fitted and it becomes a different beast altogether.

There is no "redline" model available currently, but Saturn has a habit of waiting a model year or two before they bring those out. We may get one eventually.
