very good! However, a good fiddle and banjo player to join might make it perfect

Outstanding. Tony Rothrock restored my great grandfather's fiddle, it's nice to finally put a face with the name.

Nice sounding guitar. I assume the top is solid spruce, but what are the back and sides made of?

Thanks, ask Tony about his Rothrock at "Rothrock 65." His son makes a fine guitar. I don't exactly know what the back and sides are on this model.
Bear-claw spruce for the top, rosewood for the sides & back.

Tony rocks. (from your bud nick)
