Love doesn't usually have anything to do with reproduction, as I understand it. You fall in love with whoever you happen to fall in love with. If you can reproduce, great, if not, whatever, you still love the person. And what you CAN compare between the two examples are people's attitudes toward them. Many people hated the idea of interracial marriage (some hillbillies still do), and many people today hate the idea of same-sex marriage; do you see my point?
