My car was the pre-assembled version. After a lot of rough driving the front and rear bumpers kept falling off. The double-sided tape couldn't hold them on. Might try superglue. I ordered a white Mitsubishi rally car body by Tamiya that will fit. I also got the parts to install working headlights, brake lights and indicators. Not sure when I'll do that but I wish I had the kit version as I believe the kit version has upgraded parts like the shocks.
I have that problem too. The kit is fun to build.
But I will put on another body to fix the problem. I may try super glue too.
