i have an eg112 just like that. but mine broke, the input jack snapped from the wires. this is the 2nd time to but this time wasn't an accident. first time i just left the patch in and the guitar fell over and broke cost $30 to fix. this time i looked inside and they weren't torn they were cut with wire cutters, i can tell. and since i just moved to a new city i have no idea were the nearest music store is, so im gonna buy a soldering iron and put it back me self.
Got that eg112 for a cheap price, so i'm just curious that did you do something to your guitar, like put your strings higher, adjust something or something like that to get to play songs like that with it. I mean, it's not the best guitar there is :D
haha yea but the guitar was just stock. For strings, I used 9' ernie ball slinkys. Also I lowered the tension a little bit to make it easier to play. Its really not a bad guitar though except for the two single coil pickups which are noisy as hell (the humbucker is good though and is the only one I use) and next to no sustain.
Rckrdude...First of all, kudos on your playing. I'm 51, and I have rheumatoid arthritis...but I promised myself that I would learn to play before this bitch of a disease kills me. I have the same guitar, I put Ernie Ball 2223 Super Slinky's on it to make it easier on my fingers. I'm picking with Fender mediums and scored an String Master Robotic tuner...you have inspired me to continue. I do a music show on Ubroadcast...perhaps I can have you co-host with me sometime...keep up the great play'n!
WoW thanks man. Inspiring someone with my videos means a lot to me. Great to hear ur keeping at it regardless of your physical condition. That's a good beginner's guitar and it seems ur well on your to playing. Hit me up if u need some help with playing or the Ubroadcast thing. I'd be glad to work with you.
I almost thought you were my father from what you said. My dad is 51 and recently bought a red Schecter bass guitar thinking he would try it out. He hasn't gotten anywhere with his idea but anyways, i just thought it was weird how much you sound like my father. Good luck though with learning to play guitar and good luck with your physical being. Cheers, man
I used a line 6 toneport to get the amp models and the effects. The guitar is a cheap yamaha so I'm sure ur Les Paul can sound much better than it lol. If u own a toneport and want the settings, just ask. Thanks for watching =)
nice cover.i wish i could get that nice tone like you do. my band might post a video of this if the other members agree to retry making it. cuz we already tried once and we messed up in every single take....and i dont want to put up a bad video.....really great playing though
That coming from another musician is greatly appreciated. Thanks man. Its easier to get good tone when recording by urself than when your playing with a band. If u like classic rock, u should check out the VOX tonelab effects processor. Its great live. Also its much easier to play with a backing track than a band haha. Keep at it! I'm looking forward to watch ur vid :)
yeah since we dont have a drummer....we will also be playing with a backing track...hahahaha but we are desperately searching for a drummer. we arent even an entire band yet....and how do you use an effects processor live? cuz i thought they only worked when recording....
yea drummers are always in short supply lol U can use effect processors live. Just connect your guitar into the input port in the processor and the amp to the output. google VOX tonelab. Its simply incredible
ha thats wat i use i stilll havent figured it out yet lol, theres alo of stuff on it, i bought it used so it didnt come with a manual do u know where i can get 1
I'm jealous of ur guitar hero skills :) And those are called pick slides. I dont touch the strings with my fingers. I just hold the pick a certain way and slide it on the string. Just one of those flashy Eddie Van Halen techniques haha
bro u got amazing talent, like wow man working that guiatar like theres no torw.. really good, I cant believe that ur not signed by some rock star. lol Despite ur u noe undecent style of dressing its really good
Brother in rock you are bro. EVH would be proud of you. Your a very talented guitarist Tony and I don't think I need to remind you of that :D Thanks for everything man
sounds like buckethead song :P

really kick ass cover with the backing track, gives better representation of your guitar skills if you were actually playing with a live drummer
