@applejak2000 im not one of those typical teenagers, on the very rare chance you seen me playing something like that, it OLD!! i was a machinist and a damn good one to, top of the class. i wanted to know how you make it as in how you figure out the timing and spark plugs ect.

@foxmotors1 there's a group called baem, they have a website with old baem newsletters, there's one of them that have info on how to make plugs, corian as insulator for instance. also, you can get micro plugs, for under 20 bucks a piece. the ignition system, they probably use points in most, but look up TIM-4, it's a transistor ignition for model engines, free schematics, artwork and sources. the timing, much like the real thing.

You need a milling machine, a lathe and knowledge to work with them. Then you should buy a building plan and start to work ;-)

I'm also working with self-made engines, i did it at the same way !
