  • This video shows in a few minutes the 6hr process of stenciling a Chuck Close print. Whether you are an expert in printmaking or have no idea, this shows why I love artists: we do the work because it is important to do it and do it right.

  • Thanks!  The stencils were converted from Chuck Close's original linocut by Shannon Kelley and Ruth Lingen. I worked with them for 4 summers and I still don't get how they do it.
