Yes, that is the shadow, but when you stop giving it power by thinking on it, the light takes it´s place, (thoughts of love and enjoyment)so then one realizes it´s been always an ilution, so it doesn´t exist.

Yes! This is what SoulCollage is all about. We make cards for all the different parts, light, dark..everything. The dark parts are usually there to try to protect us and if we can understand that, and shed light as you said, then they become light! Beautiful.

You are the kind of person who will only get more beautiful and interesting to listen to as you get older. "Accept the darkness, shine light on it and it will transform." That is so hard to explain to people around me who continue resisting. Thank you for reminding me I'm not a freak, or strange because of my Bohemian lifestyle. Thank you for reminding me that understanding, growth and acceptance of ourselves is necessary.

1) I agree. It is not about ceasing to care. What I have found fascinating is that what we sometimes think of as being "darkness" or "in the dark" is not always necessarily "evil." For years, I struggled with the idea that I had something "evil" and "dark" inside me that I was so afraid to face. I was terrified. I went to a psychologist and was told I was normal.

2) It took me losing everything I built in life to be forced to look inside myself and face what was in the dark. And I discovered that what I feared most, was nothing more than my true self. The self I did not accept because I thought others would not accept her. So I stopped fighting this true self and made radical changes in my life that are in sync with myself. I am much happier now. HUGS. Great message!
