  • enjoyed, thanks for sharing.

  • The end is hilarious!

  • If this isn't inspiration in itself...then I don't know what is! I didn't understand anything being said but you and the ppl. at the restaurant clearly understood each other. It makes me want to learn chinese now, lol.

  • This is really fun to watch even though I don't understand a word of it. :D

  • When you shoot, don't shake! Otherwise, YOU GO HOME!

    LOL, gotta love the straightforwardness.

  • man!!! Chinese sounds so cooooooooooooooooooooollllllllll, damn sexy.

  • I tip my hat to you. I'm very very impress with your Mandarin. I have been very interested in learning a second language. I have a friend from China. He been teaching me some words. I find it difficult understanding some of the words. You have inspired me. I live in Detroit, let me know when you are conducting another class.

    Thank you

  • I love this video! This is motivation at its best! The look on there faces, as you start speaking Mandarin is just priceless. LoL...I do the same exact thing when I go to the mall to practice Mandarin. More often than not, I usually walk away with a discount or free food just because I spoke some Mandarin.

  • This one is so fun to watch. :D

  • is it serious in here?

  • @TMDLex tooo serious bro

  • @laoshu505000

به زبان فارسی- خیلی جدی برادر

    هااهاها

  • best video yet homie

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO!! lmfao! i can't even understand this. lmfao!

  • There any chance of some subtitles please? Thanks.

  • Wow! you're good! i wish i can speak like you too!

  • You know what would be the most awesome thing? If you could make more videos like these, practising and conversing with the native speakers. Man, that would be wicked!

  • @unnuaq

Agreed. Actually, this was a good instance where I could practice listening, because the speech is so basic and slow, and its all the type of questions/answers I'm familiar with (or going to be asked) anyway.

  • which mall was this?

  • I'm not sure what the name of this mall was.

  • Chinese care about money, if you don't buy something from them, they don't talk to you.

  • That's not ture. At least I haven't experienced that before. I've been to plenty of Chinese places where I didn't buy anything, but they still were happy to speak with me.

  • @Gutsyndicate

that is so true, my best friend is chinese and that is all get talks about, and he remembers if he loans me a quarter, three months after the fact, thats one of the reasons i love him :0)

  • @Gutsyndicate Haha I have to agree, at least in NYC

  • this video makes me smile ;DDDD

  • me too!

  • Amazing!

  • I like your humor after walking out of the food shop. I can't believe, too, those stores are lettin' you get by filming and all. Most stores won't allow film or photography.

    Word!

  • Laoshu, I say this with respect, but I think that lady is sort of fond of you.

Good job on your accent, actually, too!

  • I can't understand a word but feeling kind of speechless!

  • Awesome !

  • You should give'em a little taste of what its like to be a non-yellow in China with the Chinese's infinite capacity for underhanded compliments. When they pop out an English sentence, "天啊!你会说一点点的英语,真了不起。 你的英语真好。 你会写字母吗?真的?你会写多少?10个?

  • 不错啊! I'm pretty impressed. what does bimenzaozhu mean? its at about 2:06, im guessing it has something to do with self studying?

  • 对! 闭门造车的含义啊

  • Oh lol close the door and make a cart. gotta love those 成语's

  • Dude this is so awesome! " where you learn chinese..?" I get that alot when i speak Spanish or Samoan. Im still working on my chinese and now im studying Zulu. You could be a very importent asset to this country Laoshu, especially for "us" if you know what im sayin? I hate when people say " you came to america; you need to speak english" because we could always learn to speak their language and you sir are a prime example! Keep it up bro..

  • I started learning Chinese on my own at the age of 19.

  • haha.. finally!! :D nice bro!! :P

  • haha, this is awesome!

  • haha. nice job. how good would you say you are in the language? do you make many grammar mistakes when speaking?

  • I'm not perfect, but able to communicate. I still have some work to put into my Chinese also.
