The way i saw it it wasnt destroyed but rather dissapeared behind a mountain. So that would mean that small thing which was encircled is a piece of a meteor. If the video was real.

Yeah they knew the risks, but without ever trying we go no where fast, what do you learn from a roller coaster..nothing, what can you learn from going to space...quite a lot, there has been cures, new technology found while in space as the enviroment permits excellent test grounds that just cannot be matched on earth.

The Columbia accident was in 2003. The video is apparently from 2002. It sure does look like the Columbia disintegrating though. However, I see NOTHING suggesting a UFO destroying a meteor!
