You only need look at what the "good humane" govt of US has done throughout history- it no longer stands for anything good. 1953 US overthrew iranian democracy & installed a shah dictator- for what? oil, money & geopolitical power-imperialism as its called. Foreign aid does not help countries most of the time, especially african countries. The governments just end up stealing it and using the funds to oppress their people even more.
