Actually TV-PG back then was was aimed at older people too, Nitro was not really a kids only show, it was more for all ages. Raw on the other hand was more PG-13, which is where kids could watch it but some of the content was to controversial for everyone to watch.

Actually TV-PG back then was was aimed at older people too, Nitro was not really a kids only show, it was more for all ages. Raw on the other hand was more PG-13, which is where kids could watch it but some of the content was to controversial for everyone to watch.

The belt means very little because the sport in general became a joke. There was no surprise or suspense. Nash just drags it along like it's garbage. Even though the title has lost meaning, at least carry it like a champion would.

if you do your research on the internet, SUPPOSEDLY nash and hall got so far in the business through shawn michaels cuz hbk traded sexual favors for job security, and not to women. it makes sense, cuz if you go at hbks career, hes the only guy to take 10 years off during his career and get a belt EVERY time he came back. when wrestling he was unfit to perform from beatings hed receive at bars as well as bein a SEVERE drug addict. theres gotta be a reason he kept his job, friends too.......

He must've taken more pricks than a second hand dartboard! He's been doing the same in TNA as well. A company that would do better without Hogan, Bischoff, Flair and most of the other WWF/WCW rejects.

@corbenj Big Sexy is a Legend in his own right. He had his moments. He was part of the original nWo, that was enough to put him extremely over. Tagging with a fresh Heel Hogan would have put anyone over. The whole "invasion" angle with Hall and Nash brought new light to WCW and the industry as a whole. It started the whole "shoot" era where these interviews seemed more realistic then the cartoonish nature of wrestling that was dying out.

No around this time WCW actually sold tickets, it was around a year later when they started giving tickets away. 1998 was actually WCW's most profitable year, it's too bad they went in goofy mode and caused them to lose so much money in '99 and '00.

Imagine if they had actually followed through with Nash vs Goldberg instead of the Finger Poke of Doom the week after this... Goldberg could have won the title back clean and Nash would have a rematch clause and they could have another match. I don't get why WCW thought they needed to tear through storylines and never let things just build.
