  • a lot of those were people chewing on there lip too.

  • I do the same when I'm in that "whatever, bitch" mood.

  • fucking contempt!

  • one more thing id like to say, these aren't really microexpressions. no one hides their impatience and frustration from not being on a train, and partly due to that, the expressions last quite long. they are obvious signs of anger, to possibly subconsciously communicate to other riders, and workers of their anger. its natural, since being born we want our demands met. and if im wrong about anything let me know, as i only watched the first few faces and decided to scroll down to comment.

  • no right or wrong. i like your take. :) and like the empathy generated between viewers and people in the video who are just strangers to them.

  • Correct me if i'm wrong most of them shows the lips of the expression contempt except one..... the african american woman shows the tight lip expression of anger or pressure.....

  • @xAaAx actually i have to disagree

they are mostly anger... and more specifically tension due to impatience. lips are tightened, squeezed together. the fact that they are one-sided does not mean it is contempt. if it was, why would it be in contempt unless they had some hidden incentive for why they wanted the train to not arrive? the unilateralness (imo) is from it being conscious.. the train's not here and they're pissed
