@Escul1960 each individual normally does their own, although sometimes they'll borrow someone else's choreography or sometimes just dance improvization, it's a dance of interpretation and self expression, so everyones dance will look a bit different, unless its a troupe dancing in sync.
Also, keep in mind the time period of this clip. The dance has developed since, musical styles vary, and hybrid styles have formed abroad. I recommend viewing Suhair Zaki, Fifi Abdou, Randa Kamal, as well as Bozenka, Saida, and Roshana Nofret, just to name a very few.
all these instructors and "dancers" today...you can not find dancing anymore, just technic, complex choreographies and IMITATION of felling...today dancers made a whore out of oriental dance...SHAME...SHAME!...RAQS SARQI so beautiful dance...look at Tahia
I agree with you 100%. You are soooo right! I think dancers nowadays should look more at these grand ladies of oriental dance and LEARN from them. Just watch and learn. As one of my teachers says: Bellydance is not just a box of tricks ( isolations, backbends, etc) you open to impress your audience. It is a dance of feeling and expressing the music with your body and soul.

She has a very smooth and fluid dancing style. Very pleasing to the eye.

I have a question.
Do all bellydances have the same choreography or does each individual dancer do their own?
I see that the moves are basically the same but some dancers add their own elements - is this true?
Just curious - thanks.
