  • It just doesn't get much better than this, thanks.

  • Awesome record! I had one on this label it was either an instrumental or a french lady singing a folk song, can't remember but nothing u'd wanna hear again.. this is much much better!

  • I don't think there was much put out on this label.

  • The Pennants/Laurels recorded this single in 1961.later in the 80's Bishop,Alexis,Noble Town,World and others labels released songs of this group.

This group is present in the Crystal Ball They Sang In Pittsburgh LP/CD.

  • You're welcome

  • Fred Hulme,Dick Muse,Nick Ticich,Noel Schwertfeger and Bob Gaymor from McKeesport,Pennsylvania were The Laurels but in 1961 they released one single_Don't Go/Workin Man.for the Pittsburgh based label World Records under the name of The Pennants.

  • @whitedoowopcollector There were about two or three different groups called the Laurels. Someone was thinking.

  • This may actually be the same group. The Laurels from Pittsburgh have been singing since the early 60's but I don't think they had any releases until the late 70's / early 80's. There was a previously unissiued early 60's recording of The Laurels issued on the World label in the 80's, and it sounds like it could be the same group. If this is the case than this is one of the most soulful white groups I've ever heard.

  • @PJDooWop you have another video on Youtube of this group The Laurels - I Wonder

  • You are correct.
