But it does 0-60 in 2.9 seconds(2012), faster than a Koenigsegg or an Enzo.

And it costs$89,950, a lot less than a Koenigsegg or an Enzo.

But I wouldn't buy it just yet; at the rate it's improving, the GT-R is going to lap the 'Ring faster than the Pagani Zonda R in a matter of years!

i bought a z06 instead. i was totally going back and fourth for months. i like the gtr but i also like being in control of the car and rear wheel drive. the gtr isn't real challeging. the z06 is down right dangerous and totally driver dependent.

I wish GTR's ride was more comfortable and the interior dash not have a 'flat' look to it, and I do understand it's funky exterior design for aerodynamic purposes but... it's not all too attractive. I like comfort, power, and especially good looks. Honestly, if I had the money, the R8 V10 would be worth my hard work.

Thing I love about this car is the same thing I love about Porsche 911 Turbo. It's an all rounder. Fast as a motherf* , looks mean and cool, sounds fantastic and yet, it can be driven like a normal car. And this one has rear seats even and they're bigger than in the 911. Race cars are for racing not for normal roads. I bet this one is very good even on snow just like the 911 Turbo is. And it's a Nissan so it lasts for ever. Just like a 911 does. And I bet Plato gets a lot pussy.. :D

its actually 80k but the fact is that due to the enormous demand in the US , you have to shell out another 30k to reserve the car (since there is a limited no. released in the US) , so the total cost being 110k. now the question is it worth 110k? there are other options with much more luxury such as the R8, M6, CLK amg etc. hmm...but this would still be the best in terms of performance. but luxury? im not sure.

I don't think anyone agrees with your opinion. The GT-R is the performance car of the year. What kind of person would say its worth $30k? It would out perform an Audi R8 and a Ferrari F430 easily. And whats wrong with that? Its a Nissan? So what? Its not like its a Hyundai. This is Japan's fastest super car and to think that you only consider European supercars are the only answer. Then your daft. This car is a major triumph of Japanese engineering, bang for your buck and ingenious in the making

@iiTzNOtEpADzZz Hi, just want to justify what I said before. In the latest top gear episode, I see the lap time board. The Stig did the Audi R8 V10 in 1:21.6. The 2007 GT-R did it in 1:19.7 and the new 2011 GT-R did it in 1:17.8. I hope this changes your mind of what you said before. Thanks

yep. haha. the body may be light weight but the electronics (aka the wires) weight it down a lot..A LOT. i have a hyundai azera, it has about 600lbs of wire, the gtr has even more electronics.

IMO, fifth gear are not that good at reviewing cars. They are not telling me something I don't already know by reading the brochure. Top Gear don't bother with the numbers that much; instead, they focus on telling you how it feels to drive the car...
