i love the original boa. i'm big fans of her from malaysia. boa..i love your old style.. i damn hope dat i'll meet you someday. even in my dreams, i hope my wish come true.. keep it up and go girl!! LOVE you a lot!! Beat Of Angle!!
I love BoA!!!!!! lol.. I think people should stop hating on her and also saying dat she's an imitation of janet jackson and etc. She can dance and she can DEF sing...This is coming from an american/caribbean fan
Yeah but its mostly the non-asians who say that she's "asia's britney" etc, because they are not familiar with her career history in asia. BoA definitely has her own style and she has been in the industry for 9 years. But I guess Im ok with it since comparing her to the likes of janet jackson will give them a benchmark to which they can relate BoA to.
Hahah heh SM confirmed that they are using both versions lol. Just that the asian version is now version A, and is the one that would be shown the most. :)) But yeah I love the asian version loads more.
Ugh...I think I lost a few brain cells watching version "B". Comparing the versions is like comparing DBSK to New Kids on The Block...XD No offense NKoTB fans...O_o

She will never make it. I mean i love her new single ( don't like the mv tho ) but here in the us there's only american songs, the us is really not open to other cutlures and musics like that, unlike most of other countries. The only group that I've seen make it is Tokyo Hotel, which totally surprised me because i'm from France and they were already so famous...
Well, first your from France so how the hell would you know so much about how accepting or not Americans are with music. Music is a universal language. I listen to music from Brazil, Germany, Mexico, Korea, Japan etc. Don't misunderstand us Americans were not that closed minded as you think we are. I've never heard of Boa til just few weeks ago and so far from what I've heard and seen on her video I liked it enough to buy it on iTunes. So go beat yourself with a fork.
Not all Americans are closed minded when it comes to opening up to other cultures U.S. shows more diversity out of any country out there.I don't see Spanish,French,Africans etc. in Asia do you? I as an American may not know all the languages from the world but I still listen to music from other cultures.Music is after all a universal language.I've heard Boa a week ago and so far many of us Americans happen to like her music already. It's in my iTunes right now so go beat yourself with a spoon.
I have to totally agree, right now I fear that the most. I hate the song and the US MV version. Not the bOA I know. when I hear that she was debuting I wanted her to stay as BOA, break in the America by her style and version. But of course I was being skeptical. I kinda knew they would change her due to the trends. Its just sad. I want her to suceed and maybe she will break out her BOA style in the future.
I don't know about this, I think the american market has their eyes only on American stars, you don't really see international stars making it big here... Just think about it, you don't hear korean music on tv like you would hear american music on tv in other countries, and you dont really see us being influenced by other countries, but again it's the opposite for those other countries... any way, good luck to boa!
It so sad that she will flop in the U.S. because SM Town's incompetence. Her debut song and video are crap. =/ Nothing like what made her a hit in Asia. Why change what wasn't broken?
Well..I must say that this debut is definitely not BoA's best, but she is in fact doing very well online even before promotions have started! As in she has broken into many international charts with this song already, so just like how people used to be skeptical about BoA before she debuted, I believe nothing is finalised until we see the full results because I have faith that BoA will not let this be a flop. :)) Neither would LSM.
Wow...that's something I would do. I've done that a few times, though never enough to actually need a cast. I've sprained a wrist, but only had to wear wrappings, that's it.
she speak korean like she is a foreigner so i feel a bit sad. come on, she is KOREAN. let her perform in korea PLEASE!! she never had concert in korea ever since she debut. of course i'm exciting to see her taking risk and reach america but i don't think she will be like no.1 or something. she'll just be a great asian singer although the song is really addicting. i think the song would definitely hit no.1 if a regular american singer sang it.
I heard a few people saying that too, maybe its because she has been in japan for so long which might affect her korean accent..but she still speaks a lot of korean offstage! :)) Dont worry, Im sure she will have a korean comeback after her US debut. She said so herself. ^^

They changed the video. Now instead of the U.S. version, they're using the asian version.
Smart move. ^_^

Maybe it's because she's been hard at work with her English, that it's slowly affecting her Korean.
I mean up until now, she's had her activities in Japan, so having to learn another language on top of that is hard. I admire her for that.
Then again it shouldn't affect her Korean that much. oh well
Hey what happened to her arm? LSM seems playful...haha Yes No No Yes.
