  • thats funny! but totaly something that would happen to me. Blonde moments! =D

  • oh boy, you really need to work on your 2 point position! *shakes head* Ive been riding for ALONG time. Dont force yourself over his neck. Try 3 point. Ask someone if you dont know what that is. So basically sit up a bit but at the jump stay still, dont lift up more. (I had this problem)

  • @Isis1381 she is only a kid, jesus leave off! You aren't trying to help you are being a know it all, I'm a bloody riding instructor yet I don't feel the need to tell this girl how to ride, this was posted 3 YEARS ago, my god.

  • i eatin bagel :)

  • This happend to me :L but i diidnt fall of i just was hanging on to the neck and my riding instructor goes sit u sit up sit up and i was like ehhh im TRYING and then She goes if you fall of mrs im not picken u up nd i goes thanks your sun instructor lol my pony took of at full speed and i was like Hahahahahaxxxxxx

  • Ive taken a fall after jumping because of not checking the girth, its a common mistake!! Good to see they did it again :P xx

  • yeaah i agree with poppypony789 as on your daughter video it says it was checked several time :L xxx

  • @horseybabe03 and as I said to poppypony789, her idea of checking is very different to mine. She may have checked it but I didn't.

  • @horseybabe03

she has no natheeral postion jk! i love your vides:)

  • that is a very cute horse ! :)

  • OMFG.

  • I seriously doubt that most of these people would be so rude and comment on your daughters riding if they were talking in person. I really don't get where people actually think that anybody cares about what they think on a youtube video. I guess it just makes them feel better and gives their ego a boost when they realise a common and very simple easy to spot and make mistake. I supose some people havent quite grown up and would like a gold star for being clever ^^.

  • @xXfillyfoalXx Too true xXfillyfoalXx. Thank you for your support. :)

  • @jooles1111 Anytime :)

  • things happen like this hopefully the rider was okay afterwards :)

I bet now she always checks her girth. Not doing your girth up doesn't make you a bad rider its just you being forgetful and it hopefully will make her a better rider from the expieriance!

    -Tara :)

  • haha love this! I love the look on her face when she's in the air like, are you still filming!

    ahha this is funny :P

Godd I hate how people just critisise for no reason, I mean we all make mistakes there is not need to be nasty, and it really is not their place to go and critisise you over the internet when they obviously don't know you or the rider!

  • on your daughters video of this it says that she checked the girth before jumping but here it syas you forgot?

  • @poppypony789 Have you noticed the size of my daughter? She's a tiny thing - her idea of tightening the girth is very different to mine!

  • @jooles1111

It doesn't matter about the size of her! She obviously has the basic knowledge of horse care and a very good knowledge of how to ride by what I have seen so she should of known how tight to actually tighten the girth

  • jooles1111 Your correct! a crupper is a strap which attaches at the back of the saddle etc I hate it when ppl tried to take the piss out of your knowledge when they have none of their own lol. Lovely pony by the way. :-)

  • you should enter my falls contest

  • a crooper might help? :)

  • para hacer eso deberias de aprender a montar a caballo como es debido primero si kieres ke salte en el momento de saltar aflojale las riendas no crees?

  • Why are you jumping in a dressage saddle?

  • poor pony bless x

  • was she all right make sure u always cheak the girth before riding

  • wtf is up with you're saddle? jeeze, kearn how to saddle that poor horse..

  • I do think your approach could have been better but then again i dont know the surface.

  • Aw good your both ok and cool video ! but yeah everyone should be quiet cause when you think bout it they are probably just some bad rider hiding behind a computer XD I bet nearly everyone one in this whole world has forgot to check their girth at least once or twice I know I have done it at least 5-6 times :P

  • i have done this b4 but not by jumping lol

  • Why is everybody making a big deal about this? You guys probably got caught up and excited and just forgot and everyone throws a fit! Im sure they have done this before! Great little pony you got there :]

  • can i use some clips in my horse falls video and of course i will credit? x

  • its also cuz her legs but cute horse and nice going hahahahahahahahhahah the horse is like opps did i do that

  • ppfff

  • ooops! need to do your girth up! ive done that lol (not jumping though)

  • ....Stirrups are WAY too long, and, your arms and legs are flapping around...i think u need a few lessons before u start jumping....

  • lol it would feel like ur flying my horse has done that before she lush

  • the first bit she pulled ion the horses mouth waaaaay to much

  • lol arent her stirrups like wayyyy to long ? x

  • No lol they are a bit short :P You must ride jockey style lmao!

  • It's not just that the girth is so loose - the saddle doesn't fit him.

  • ooo that much of hurt : / but just to say on the other video of this by Jasmyndo she said she checked the girth and you said that you didnt. just confused but beautiful pony BTW ^^

  • That must of heurt :( is that you riding or a friend??

  • ouch that must have hurt i hope your ok!!!oh and btw if anyone has any videos like this or falls or anything bad i have a cometition open now so check it out! x

  • Its funny how everybody suddenly becomes an expert when they see someone else make a mistake. As I've said before, we are all human and I did not post this here to get advice

  • @jooles1111: Well said!!! COmpletly agree and to the jumper, looked really artistic ;) Hope U are fine!

  • u really could do with some lessons because ur leg and arm position is not very urmm (how shall i put it) well they're flapping way too much, my friend does it as well i think people think it will encourage the horse to go forward but it doesn't it just makes u look like chicken lol, and try sit deeper in the seat it will help u to create a rythm but nice pony (i love dapple greys) :) x

  • hoppla :D

  • looks like that saddle doesnt fit and you need a better fitting saddle pad.

  • girth not checked and that pure stupility

  • i'm confused: i saw this video two times.... both on diffrent channels claiming it's thier video. is some one stealing this?

  • You probably saw it on my daughter's channel. It's her in the video and me behind the camera.

  • OUCH!!!!

    that would of hurt!!!!

but if u watch it a couple times, you would see the girth plop down and back up after each jump.

not to make fun though but i would recommend one of those straps that hold the back of the saddle down because its a pony and yours is very jumpy when he canters.

at shows that are strict, the judge would see your saddle bounce and turn their backs at you.

    hope i helped ~~~aka horselove131 :)

  • the strap your talking about is called a "crupper" (pronounced CROOPER) they are EXTREMELY helpful! :-)

  • no they're called girths - get it right!!!!!!! lol, what's a crupper i think u are maybe talking about a western saddle or sometging cos on english saddles they are galled girths (pronounced GURTHS) lmao :D

  • She definitely means crupper. It attaches to the back of the saddle and goes under the tail to stop the saddle slipping forwards on ponies that have no withers or shoulders to hold the saddle in place.

  • oh is that what they are called - but it didn't have one of them on so how could u tighten it. If it moves that far forward then it will usually be due to the saddle not fitting the pony properly and the girth being to lose, i mean it was your video and that's what u said in the information! But i thought that girl had confused the girth with a crupper thing so that's why i posted my comment :)

  • @xTessie13x westsrns called cinch

  • @xTessie13x

    actually, no.

the strap that @jooles1111 was talking about was called a crupper and it is used with english saddle. and i know how to pronounce girth thank you. i said pronounced crooper so you didnt go into your local tack shop and make an ass out of yourself by calling it a cruhper. so yes. i don't need the attitude.

  • ouch, looked pretty bad. :S

  • oh , ouch ,,

    \

  • lol , ouch

  • Hahaa Fob, Some people are rude. I think yourh amazing at riding! Alot better than me, but i have a riding teacher who does my girths if i can't get it up high enough xD Good job though! <3

  • u loe are sad. raaah get on wif ur own ponies init. allow her soo what she fell off? she prbs better rider then all of u. all im sayin is tht the horsey worldd is well too bitchy n its coz of u sado's SWERR DWNN, if u anit got nnffin nice too say. dont say nuffin at all !!

  • I would say we are all learning, no matter how long we have been around horses, there is always more to learn. However, I don't appreciate anybody being rude about my videos. Jas is an excellent rider, as can be seen from her own videos, but we are all human and we all make mistakes from time to time. I happened to video it this time so thought you all might appreciate a laugh at our expense. I didn't post it here for advice.

  • xXeMokiDXxMCRXx please don't be so sarcastic, i'm only 13 yrs old and i hope that she has lessons, she needs to get into the habit of checking the girth, please don't tell me off co i have my own pony as well!

  • Poor boyo. Glad you were both ok.

I would recommend getting a saddle fitter out though, as the saddle looks like it is lifting off the horse's back an awful lot at the back. It would be worth having a professional look at just to make sure nothing is hurting the horse.

Gorgeous pony though, lovely colouring. (:

  • Haha nice fall, ignore that twats on the comments their obvs idiot,s u need lessons cuz ur pony bucked and caught you off gaurd, HAH! you ride perfectlyfine it was jut an acccident, i did it once and ive had riding lessons alll my life! I forgot to check my girth on my western saddle when we were doing barrel racing with my mates, and afterwards, we went for a race, and as she too k off she bucked and i was on the floor and the saddle was underneath her haha!

  • that girls gotta take lessons, no offense and im not trying to be mean, but you need to take lessons before you do any jumping.

  • what the hell, she needs to take lessons just becasue she got caught off gaurd by a big buck! It was most certainly not her fault, anyone woulda been caught out by that it was totally unexoected, and jsut cuz the girth wasnt done up, wen i ride i always cherck my girth, but sometimes the saddle just slips cuz i did check it well enough, gosh leave off she can ride perfectly fine

  • no no no, she needs lessons on how to jump properly. She needs to balance that horse back before each jump, he's WAY too forward on his front end. And not kick him before the jumps. She needs to kick him when he needs to take off. She also gets too ahead of him, that's why she flies forward in jumping position. I'm not being mean, just helpful

  • i see where your coming from but you have no idea how old this girl is, how long shes been riding, if shes having riding lessons or anything, so there was absolutely no need for that comment, she doesnt need your advice, she wasnt hurting him or anything, i no much worse riders

  • Does that matter? I started riding when I was three years old, now I'm sixteen. You tink I don't know what I'm talking about? It doesn't MATTER how old she is, she needs to take lessons. If you can't ride properly, you definittley can't jump properly. It puts both you and your horse at serious risk.

  • Oh yes and that certainly gives you the right to say someone can't ride, after watching ONE video, where she falls offs, which is the whole point of the video, I have been in the saddle since i was 6 months old, i am 17 now, i got my first pony at 4, started jumping at 6, in the past 4 months alone, i have won 4 jumping qualifiers, i am going to college to train to be a showjumper, and i work at an eventing yard as a groom, so i certainly have more quals than you too tell someone how to ride

  • But your right, that horse is ooobviioussly at risk from his very dangerous riderr, who cant ride, thats why she manages to be able to jump him, and why shes holding the reins right and in the saddle correctly, shes not you, deinflate your ego and pick on someone worthy of your godly cristicism

  • Deflate my ego? I've come a long way with riding. I know what I'm talking about. My mother is an olympic trainer; deflate my ego? Wow. Someone is abhorrent towards elder riders and has pety comebacks. Just leave it. You've already lost.

  • towards elder riders? I'm older than you? And omg really? LIKE I CARE, im not leaving it, you had no right to tell her what to do, if she wants to have riding lessons, thats ehr choice, its not your s to make, if she wanted your advice, he'd have it in big words, ADVICE PLEASE!!! Do you see that, anywhere? No, so why dont you butt out of other peoples lives and go back to your olypic training blah blah whatever you do

  • Your a highly immature 17 year old. Puh-lease. And yeah, when I'm an Olympic three day event gold medalist, I'll see you back at the basics. hmm, what are those called again? Oh yeah, walking and steering correctly.

  • phahaha thats suppsoed to what? Insult me, make me cry, make me think, omg shes betetr than me ill shup and be good, of course deary, ill see you at the events, seeing as im training to be a show jumper, and have been praised by very high up people, and get on very well with mr stockdale ^^ if you look at my videos, im sure you'll see that ive mastered walking, steering, 5ft2 jumping, aaand competing

  • Can I ask why did you go on this video?

Is it because since they've fallen it means that they have had made a mistake which you can pick up on being such a clever person and so you can point that out in the most rude fashion possible?

  • i was going over 2 foot jump when my girth broke in midair

  • Just shows how common mistakes end :L hope your alrite, dont worry about it and if you get any stupid petty little comments just ignore them cause its a commen mistakes but although the person filming should have noticed sureleeyy :) but anywayy good ridingg :D x

  • that was one hell of a fall!! and you giggled! good on ya!!x

  • that was definately not a buck, basically,he just crow hopped,xD,which, when they do that and then turn, yeah, hard to stay on,I`ve fallen that way :)

  • May I give you a helpful tip(not demanding!) Jas should try and keep her arms steady instead of flailing them before the jump, and not lean so much to one side(it just means she has a stronger leg then the other). You can fix that by doing exercises to strengthen the other leg! Otherwise as long as her stirrups are shortend she will have good posture.

  • how badly did u get hurt?

  • good i like happy endings!

  • same here.when i was cantrin my girth was loose and starting sloly slipng.i almost snapped my neck on the fnce.

  • haha nearly did that last week i did check the girth but it was as tight as it could go and the instructor said i would be ok but we went crosscountry and the pony i was riding kept taking off and the saddle kept slipping

  • Erm.... ooops?? ;D

It happens to the best of us!

  • the horse looks pretty proud off him self

ANYWAY ARE U ALL RIGHT THAT WOULD OF ME

  • that pony iss cuteee:)

  • aww been in that cofuddle myself. funny tho=D

  • Amazing! It was clear, that you fall! I think in this moment every rider fall! But its a cute little pony! He looks like the Arab from my godmother... :)

  • oooo learnt the hard way like me lol xx

  • CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • haha oops oh well, thats happened to me before when i went for a semi gallop (fast canter because my pony's a bit too chubby atm) and he stuck his head down, pigrooted and i went all superman haha.

grouse vid tho, cute as pony too!

    x

  • Hehe thanks!

  • a crupper stops tha saddle from going up the horses neck it might be a gud idea to invest it one if tha saddle does that. i had to get 1 for my old pony lol

  • A crupper wouldn't have helped on this occasion as the problem was that we didn't tighten the girth. If we had the saddle would have stayed in place. But thank you for your comment

  • are ryt lol i have dun that on numerous occasions lmao that pony is really cute btw

  • Thanks - he was a little sweetie

  • i think he tripped on the top rail and lost his balance then he tripped and you came forward and the saddle came off

  • I think if you watch it properly you will see that the saddle was already forward over his withers before he jumped the second jump. He didn't lose his balance at all.

  • OUCH

  • OMG!! Erm do you mind me asking ...

    1. How old is he?

    2. How long have you had him?

    3. How tall is he?

    4. WHere did you buy him from?

    5. Has he had any naughty problems?

If you dont mind he looks exactly like the pony from my friends yard who sadly got sold on as he was really naughty and if it is him im sure she would love to know he is ok

  • He belongs to the farm where we keep our horses. Not sure how old he is, he's about 12.2, he's been at the farm probably for nearly a year. He has had the odd little buck and he's a bit fidgety, but other than that he's a lovely pony. He's called Marko on his passport.

  • Have a look at my video "Holly's Movie" - he's in that one.

  • glad no1 was hurt :) the jump be4 the fall was quite good :)

  • no gorund ples under the jump??

  • Did you not watch the video? Firstly, both jumps are about 1'6" - hardly big enough to warrant a ground pole, and secondly one of the jumps actually did have a ground pole.

  • There's a ground line in front of the jump, fro the side she went over it.

  • haha aww poor pony and kid! bet that was a shock glad to hear they did it again. That pony looks like such a star even if he did look a tad confused...

I made that same mistake while being lunged once i lasted about 3 strides in trot before the saddle was under his belly...

  • Yeah, he was a good boy!

  • k y didn't u hav a girth or saddle pad on?

  • uum ...we did, we just forgot to make sure it was tight.

  • ahh great videee :D xx looks like it hurt :L

  • aww good that she got back on and did it again and that ya had the video there to see what reali happened like the morall i think i will always check mine now before jumping as well

well behaved ponie to just stand there after words ### :)

  • Yeah, the first thing she said after 'ouch' was 'did you get that?' !!!

Pony is fab - what a little star.

  • im glad no one was hurt

    such a cute video :)

  • whatta cute ponyy :)

  • ouch looks painful is she all right?

  • Yes they were both fine and went back to jump it again.

  • ouch !

    for pony & rider :L
