  • I was running off to youtube while already putting the little pan on the fire and needed advice in a few seconds. You gave it. Thank you! Afterwards I watched the whole video without skipping. I noticed that it seemed to go easier with just the chopsticks to prod the sides but dont destroy the 'field' too much and then you don't need the spatula (also not buttering up the pan for every layer but maybe it depends on the type. Anyway, thanks!

  • @kiyoshiBE Thank you for your long comment :D !! I use chopstick for breaking bubble. Have a delicious Tamagoyaki! Thank you again.

  • haha. Clever to use the spatula for the last layer! During the vid i was thinking "using the sticks is tearing it up! bad presentation", but it turned out fine :)

  • @handom85 Thanks for youa advice. I also think so. But using sticks is may be his philosophy. :D

  • @soleil747 yeah. Agreed. I get the tradition thing.

  • @handom85 Thank you again. Using only sticks is may be Japanese Samurai way?

  • @soleil747 I dont know, but I do know chopsticks is what is traditionally used in japan as forks in the U.S.

  • @handom85 Thanks again! Chopstick is still most common tableware to eat every food in Japan.

  • Before you turn the eggs, you may want to let the liquid congeal more by cooking it for 20 to 30 seconds longer (over medium heat). The congealed egg mixture is less likely to break when you turn it over. The end product will look better this way. Thanks!
