@jimmym1a1 I know your comments are a year old but. If you got a massive hole in the wall the best thing to do is first brace the wall!!! Second thing is clean up around the hole so that only full blocks are left. (this is a seen finished wall. If it isnt seen you just fill in the hole with cuts to replace the damaged blocks.) Then fill in the hole starting at the bottom and work up. Remove and bracing as you go. The remaining blocks that werent damaged should hold together if no cracks in joint
@jimmym1a1 Also before you do any bracing of the wall you need to asses the damage to the wall and make sure its not gonna fall on you when you move in to work. And as you add and remove braces and as you are cleaning up the blocks up around the hole always watch the joints for cracking. Safety is always first. Be aware of the danger around the hole.
