looking very interesting..i searched the web looking for gpr schematics, but no, none. and i keep wondering about things like the gbluer exciter and such like pulsed tower coils.. exciting to see you are doing this.
@harpbloke those coils i scored from a recycler are from physics lab demo stuff.
they are for bench tests only.
all im after with this project is a cheap but effective metal detector of my own design.
im going with the pulse induction method and since most of the science is well covered im tipping any discoveries i make will already be stumbled upon by others but im having fun along the way.
the steepest learning curve for me right now is the programming language for the arduino.
@marthale7 no it was the same price from the company i bought it from but i figured im supporting an aussie business(well 2 actually if you count the seller and the manufacturer) and the freetronics board is a bit more refined than the arduino but still 100% compatible.
