cool i was wondering where the origonal concept came from. we do the same thing at kickboxing except 4 on 1. it works really well.

Actually, they really can't, the protective armor they have on is very stable, and is meant to block direct attacks and to protect the wearer. :D

i havent watched this yet but doesent it say *stamina training* ? i dont see why that concern mma ( i assume mma is some fighting contest)

It a stamina training beacause the aim of this exercise is to exhaust the fighter of the center.

Yes, because naginata practice can be easily compared to unarmed fighting... That's an exercise used in order to condition them in fighting with a certain weapon, under a certain set of rules...
