  • One of the best ive seen , great job on this one

  • Nice tank but the Hippo tang is way too big for that aquarium poor thing has no where to go!

  • overstocked but nice.

  • @RaffleReefer10 unless you have a PHD in marine biology how do you know what overstocked is? if the filtration is adequate and the fish have enough room to swim the tank is not overstocked

  • @afrankdapimp12 This tank is only 34" long, you think a hippo tang would be happy in there, ass hole.

  • @TheOneAndOnlyMichae1 You are very Ignorant read about corals and how they are grown then comment has nothing to do with money. I bet your a downer what no girl friend I knew it. A mind is a terrible thing to waste

  • @danbran67 Shush now: youtube is not here for you to vent your spleen.

  • Really nice clowns

  • @mikojones591 thanks for your comment they are a mated pair of black onyx clowns

  • i rather see coral in the ocean

  • @TheOneAndOnlyMichae1 yhea...OK good luck with that

  • @danbran67 get off youtube and goto the ocean then

  • loving that tang whats he at 8 inches?

  • @samuelwaynefoleyjr The tang is actually 6 inches, thanks for your comments he actually likes to be hand fed

  • Dude that's an amazing tank very well taking care of and well maintained really great job I'm starting a 10 gal which is nothing compared to yours but that's all I can really afford at the moment check my videos out and tell me what u think and what I should add to it I'd really appreciate the help

  • Wow is all I can say ... Amazing !!! Simply amazing for a 90 gallon !!!

  • @Bl4ckVV0lF thanks I try very cool comment take care

  • ill tank. im loving the sun coral

  • Great custom tank.

  • ok looks good keep like that.

  • No look like 90 gallons looks like 65g

  • @comecocos1 typo 28 x 34 x 22 OK take care

  • lucky fish

  • I just bought a 90 gallon :) I plan on using a HOB skimmer and have a refigium underneath the tank... I want to be conservative, but I want to only have 1 tang (powder blue).. and I think it's stretching it being only 48" wide.. You did a great job with the setup of corals and live rock.

  • @deftones999us Thanks , hope you have great success with your 90, as far as the tang 90 is great for a PBlue dont stress it good luck

  • woooow cool tank!!!

  • this is seriously pretty!!!well done.Love the rock arrangement.Goes to show, you don't need SPS, acros etc. to create an authetic reef feel.

  • @navyblue12 Thanks for the comment and this is so true you dont need SPS all over good luck

  • i see that u have a few different species of anthia in there...which do u have and are they male female? and how succesful have u been at keeping them togetehr because im looking to do the same....thnaks

  • @vipete1985 well the Borbonious anthias is a male the other is a female Ignitus anthias and a fat head anthias male

all non aggresive all well together

  • beautiful reef!

  • What kind of fish is it that is yellow with orange spots-Anthias? If so, what do you feed it?

  • mate thats a quality setup there , well one looks lovely not to many fish either

  • congrats danbran67 on the obvious success of your tank; just wanted to recommend Polp labs One calcium liquid along with Reef Roids plankton supplement; ive searched and found increased health and growth of my reef with the use of these; that is in case you wanted to try something new. or maybe you already have. never the less, thx. for sharing the sea.

  • I love The pair of clownfish . How much did you pay for then and are they true perc? Thanks

  • @silly8oi I got them for a 100 and yes they are onyx true percula mated pair

  • Do you supplement with Kalk or anything?

  • @Esoxfan liquid calcium, liquid dkh buffer, magnesium, iodine, reef essentials, vitamin c marine.

  • gj!

  • @QuebecReefTank What was that

  • @danbran67 It means Good Job

  • @danbran67 it means "good job" haha, but yes, your tank is stunning!

  • People love to pick on tangs being in a 4 ft tank... BLAH BLAH BLAH

Your fish look really healthy, and well your whole system looks good. Good job man.

  • @waterkeeper03 Its not even close to a 4 ft. Read the dimensions 28x34x22... I dont see a 48 in there..

  • Beautiful tank beautiful fish an coral awesome. I have a 40 breeder I am happy with still trying to build me a good rock wall though. I only have about 5 fish but I am adding slowly at the moment had a ich out break a few months back. Really looks like you know what you are doing though great job.

  • Although I do think the tank looks rather small and narrow for the yellow tang at least, if he's happy, healthy and eating well I guess he musn't be stressed out of anything. :) Nice tank, anyways. Looks amazing.

  • @LoveMusic814 He eats like a pig and the blue tang to, they are playful and eat from my hand, one reason seams to be there are no aggresive fish. It will all be a 125 gallon reef soon. the tank seems narrow but it's not the dimensions are in the video at the beginning ( you do the math ) at 90 gallons, they're Ok. Thanks

  • @danbran67 Haha, very cute. Yeah, with less aggresive fish it always seems that tangs do a lot better, they do look very happy :) Yeah I saw that itwas 90 gallon, but didn't see the dimensions, either way I'm sure they have enough swimming space.

  • it does look like that tang is too big for that narrow and tall tank, sorry.

the tank and coral look awesome though.

  • @soskin Yes it looks like but no he doin quite fine no parasites no starvation no illness and happy or it would show up as Ick but thanks for your concern hope to see your tank soon

  • Nice tank who's to say what fish is happy in what as long as they eat and swim your ahead of the game. Like all your wall rock and coral work very nice. I believe you said you used pvc to mount them up like that on the sides what fittings and what else did you use. my tank is under chefesteban 90 gal. tank, or something like that.

  • @chefesteban76 I used pvc and cemented all the parts to form a skeleton easy to do you can make up your own with straight cuts and elbows use small diameter pvc pipe works best thanks good luck let me know how it goes.

  • @chefesteban76 Saw your Tank, Very Nice. great assortment of fish

  • nice tank man but damn them tangs are way to big for your setup

  • @nychris351 Oh gosh gee wilikers tanks a lot bub but them fish is happy . I garrontee lets see yo tank man , you must be one of dem ocean profesors ( Smart Guy )

  • An ingenious idea adding a mirror in front of the HOB or in this case HOS refugium for easy viewing. Good Job!

  • is it hard to grow the Red Gracilaria Algea?

  • @wiifan62 No not difficult at all keep it in a refugium where the watet movement is high at about 360 GPH and keeping it toward the top

  • whats your skimmer are you running?? what kind of sand bedding? great work of art!!

  • @TheWarOrphan Skimmer is a plain 3 " X 16 " acrylic with a Rio 800 venturi plus wood air stone the substrate is grade 0 white live sand and Thanks good luck

  • HI what skimmer u are using? where did u put your frags in? what light is the frag corals in? what is the best skimmer u are using dude? your tank looks awsome with out a sump! I am going to restart my 36 gallon bowfront reef tank thanks to my algae it killed 2 of my clownfish already and the algae gave them white spot on their skin?

  • @tvshowuploader3 Im using a rio 800 refaction power head plus a wood block with air stone for extra micro bubbles , 24 watt power compact with dual bulbs for the frags. I have no sump but the wet dry does the trick and both refugiums lower the nitrates and Phos.... everything acts better than a sump . I don't think your algae killed your fish they probably were stressed from something else. Thanks and good luck

  • Nice tank... but too small for your two tangs... People say tangs are ok for 75+ gallon tanks... I disagree... the tank needs to be long so the fish can dart and swim... now if this 90 gallon was long and not high... it'd be a different story... you can tell in your video how the yellow tang tries to dart and swim but stops immediately because it can go no further... i have a 55 gallon reef and I dare not even put a yellow tang in there even though i want to so badly...

  • @xtrueballerx I always enjoy when people start a profound comment with People say . People say is not a comment based on Science or Knowledge but hearsay . I would Like to see your tank ! and Remember this tank is 22 inches deep plenty of room you can't see that because the fish come close when i recorded them and I would say to you don't be affraid of the Yellow Tang Mystery they do Fine as you can see. But Thanks

  • Hey, I'm trying to start a reef tank in a 30 gallon. I was wondering how you built up the coral in the back? But this tank you have is amazing... I hope I can get mine looking like this. Well done sir.

  • The Live rock is held up by pvc pipes that were glued together drilled full of holes to let water in and stay down like bone structure from then placing rock well and always think of the shapes and size of what you need is important ,good luck and thanks

  • I have a 29 gal reef tank. Just watch the bioload. Mix of softies/LPS corals with a 2x T5HO. First fish is a midas blenny. 2 clowns and a shrimp later. I just stacked the liverock solidly. You can secure with pvc/cement/glue if you like, but it limits what you can do in the future. The tank is 30" long but a 36" light works fine.. it gives a more lumens and is a more popular/common bulb size. Most fixtures will down adjust to a smaller width tank.

  • sorry dingleberry I don't know what your getting at are you commenting or giving me a discription of your tank

  • @igyyoung Thanks hope your thirty looks great one day. post me back . but to let you know it took me 3 years to get it like this, slow and patience is the only way always looking for bargains when possible thanks again

  • @igyyoung I made a PVC skeleton from the begining before I poured in the live sand and water drilled holes in the PVC bottom structure and attached suction cups on them so it would hold and not spread apart from the one side of the tank

  • Very very good tank!

  • Sweet tank , whats the lighting?

  • BOYU 150 MH + 2/ 24 watt Actinic
