I know this is just my opinion, but i like to think of bravestarr being in the same universe as the star wars universe.... mainly due to the similar sci-fi technology and the fact that marshall bravestarr himself has unique powers that are almost akin to those of force sensitive's
GayStar.......GayStar In a distant town a far away place A town with same sexes floats deep in space Shaped like two buns land without whores The butt lust rush brought out homos galore GayStar....GayStar Then suddenly a homo appeared With rainbow clothes and pink bows in his hair injector a beef disco queen from a bar champion of butt lust MARSHAL GAYSTAR
If Mattel hadn't been impatient and rushed the release of Bravestarr's toys (I had Bravestarr, Tex Hex and Thirty-Thirty), then we might have got more than one season of this awesome show. As it was, kids didn't know what the hell to make of them, and their sales were less than spectacular, so Mattel pulled the plug. Idiots.
@monroe111 I had the blaster toy for this, which I was absolutely blown away to discover worked on the same Infrared frequency as our TV remote, so I could cange channels on our TV by shooting it with my Bravestar blaster pistol
@1FineYoungCannibal Actually "poo-ma" or the way they are pronouncing in the video is the way it was pronounced from its original language and its Spanish version.
@TheLordSethonan Hell, they basically worked for the devil. Tex Hex was basically a zombie, raised from the dead and given powers by some kind of demon thing called Stampede
@DevilDan83 They are shamanic powers; he can only call on them through their totem, and only when fighting for good and all the kind of positive and anvilicious things that make these series memorable.
Bravestarr was indian after all. the real shame is that there has never been another native hero like him in other media that is not retarded; Bravestarr was basically Apache Chief but competent and not entirely racist and simple.
@TheLordSethonan Sadly he was about the only competent person on the heroes side to the point it seemed like the town constantly needed him to solve its every problem cause everyone else was a retard.
As I'm starting to run after a guy who dropped his wallet I yell SPEED OF THE PUMA. As I return another guy across the street puts both hands in the air and shouts STRENGTH OF THE BEAR. And grins from ear to eat. True story from norway.
their best show imo, heman had some akward moments, but then again, what show didn't back then, and ghostbusters... wow... i dunno what was worse, the live action, or the cartoon... oh well, thanks for the upload though a good show, they don;t make them like this much anymore, really have to look to find something of quality, these days...
@kouf85 They do! they had the 80's on lockdown with Flash Gordon, Blackstar, He-man, She-ra, etc. I loved the realistic movements of their characters, that actually comes from some of the animators "Disney" like training.
To all you dudes clownin' it: you had to be there. It made perfect sense in the 80s. That's not saying much, lol, but man I loved this show. Especially since Filmation did it.
i want a channel dedicated only to the 70's and 80's cartoons. DO IT.

I never thought the cartoon was "good" i guess you could say, but I always felt the concept was amazing.
Native American superheros are not very common and certianly not ones that are the title character.
So I say BRAVO to the creators and animators for that.
