Starting from ExZeus 1.1, there is an autosave, if you quit the application in the middle of the play, then you can restart from the last level reached, if you "game over" of course there is no continue game.
Price of ExZeus 1.1 just dropped to $1.99. The Price will revert to $5.99 when the new ExZeus 1.2 with Online Battle Score will be out, so this is very limited time offer :)
I love this game so much, but I wish I could beat it. I think this game needs either a difficulty level adjuster or an option for more lives. ... and to balance that, the more handicap you give yourself the less points you gain, so it'll get people to try the harder difficulties. As it stands right now, like for any casual player, if I can't beat it when I decide to flip out my Itouch within some tries, it goes back into the pocket.
I love it, but accelerometer controls are not accurate. I would love to see an on-screen D-pad or joystick option, like in rebel onslaught. It is really a great game though!
well, if you think deeply about the DPAD, you'll see that it is not a good idea for a game like ExZeus. While it could be OK for game with slow
action moving on screen (or 2D game like PacMan), the DPAD has some terrible drawdown, "DPAD" stand for Digital PAD, so we will loose the Analog part of the control,
you might "miss" the button zone while playing and since you would
have to keep the finger pressed it could lead to a kind of "tiredness" in the finger,
you cannot really do easy "quick" manoeuver by moving the finger on a DPAD because of
the screen friction.
In ExZeus we have a total new way of controlling a touch game, you can press
anywhere in left side of the screen to lock missile and anywhere in right side of the screen to shoot (this can be switched for left handed people in the option
screen), that means, you will never miss any shoot or any lock while playing, you dont have to worry if you have thin or thick finger, the game will
react to your touch very smoothly so you can keep concentrating on the action on screen (and it is important because we have a lot of action
on this game :P ). About the accelerometers, this is really the perfect way to
control the character robot, alike Nintendo WII controllers, your brain is constently making correction in order to compensate any moves in the screen,
this makes a direct "brain-to-game" intuitive interface just by tilting your device
Looks pretty awesome. I've been having a great time with Rebel Onslaught, and since beating that, I've been waiting for another good 3d shooter. What is the price?
Reminds me of star fox with an accelerometer lol
