Thanks for your reply, Ken, and for posting this video. It brings back a lot of fond memories. I viewed your other clips too, and it's interesting to see how little the main campus has changed since then (although they may have knocked down South Hall by now). I'm heading over to the alumni site to check out the pics you mentioned. Thanks again, and hope you're doing well - Mike
You're right, it's me. Drkenc, where did you get this amazing footage, much less decide to post it? Sure sparks a ton of memories. Thanks for sharing .... Mike
@mkuhlin I was on the KEY photo staff with Marty and the gang. However, I was not assigned to cover that game, but I decided to shoot a 8-mm movie anyhow. Recently I was going through some of the old movies that I had transferred to video a few years ago and decided to post that clip as well as some other memories.Glad you found it. Best to you, Mike. (If you look through the photos posted on the BG Alumni website, you might come across one of the KEY photo staff--including me!) Ken Collins.
Head majorette Becky Quick twirls her baton with the Falcon Marching Band. I believe the photographers shown are Shu Lau Cheuk from the KEY (university yearbook) and Mike Kuhlin, photo editor of the BG NEWS.
This film was taken during the first football season played on the new Doyt Perry field. The previous football season was played on a field that was converted into a mall lying between the new Jerome Library and the new education building, just south of the College of Business building.

Could that be Doyt Perry himself, viewing the action high over the field at 2:42?
