  • One of the best pure shooting little men I ever saw. He had some pretty good ball fakes too which would free him up for a shot. He was way too quick and deadly for Stockton to stop in the video; and Stockton is the all-time steals leader. I would love to see Rauf in a 3 point contest with guys like Mark Price, Craig Hodges, and Calvin Murphy; other great pure shooting little men.

  • underrated player

  • if this guy hates america so much then why doesn't he get out?

  • Chris Jackson/Rauf was an AWESOME PLAYER...too bad he let somone get into his head and spread this Islam/Oppression Nonsense....guy was a STAR...all he had to do was "Play the game" on and off the court...like JORDAN did....

  • @akrivosdiavolos73 actually my friends met him lately before months ago and he is in the middle east and what happened is that its not about Islam or anything about that he left the NBA, he was denied by the coach at those days cuz he turned to Islam or something like that they kept him in the bench... the true story and he still playing from time time in the middle east and he got a picture with my friends at a street game he came there and watch them....

  • Nigger

  • @shall2347 white ape

  • Comment removed

  • @krebsballar3 screw you he plays his talent and gets payed for it if he doesn't get payed for standing for a shitty fucking anthem he doesn't have to do it

  • @krebsballar3 "Can't stand for the National Anthem but can stand in line to take a paycheck from America."

You mean Mahmoud was paid by the government? Uh-oh. I think you consevrative dolts should get out your guns and start shooting soon before the country REALLY gets ruined by all these non-Americans.

C'mon, bunnies: Start shooting. Like the good little fascists you are.

  • ESPN just sent me here

  • What does Islam have to do with the star spangled banner? did he mean oppression against Blacks or oppression against Muslims/Non-Christians ..

  • i remember passing him in the halls of Gulfport High,, rock on Chris.

  • Jeez you actually think that Islam is all about blowing things up? I know plenty of Muslims and they DON'T condone any of those things. The hijackers were Islamic extremists not ordinary Muslims. You know....Al Qaeda ....extremists? Not every Muslim wants to blow stuff up. Even people in Iraq and Afghanistan aren't safe from these extremists.

  • @guitar241990 Newsflash, Islam extremist didn't do it.

  • not 1 dunk!!!!!!

  • what song is at 4:00? I think its shyheim

  • @only1jamesp AZ- Rather unique

  • he really busted john stockton ass

  • @only1jamesp Mahmoud sliced and diced Jordan more than a few times too: Too quick, too accurate.

David Stern sabotaged his career after a few sensational comments - shame.

  • off the scum mother fucker

  • hes a family friend

  • It is a shame this man's basketball cannot be judged on its merit alone.

  • Yea, so what. Now he travels the world playing ball for many different countries who love him. No biggie. He doesn't stand to salute the flag? Well, maybe he puts his religion ahead of his government. Our Government is full of punks and thugs. Who cares, it's what he wants to do. He isn't breaking any laws. In maybe 10 years he'll retire to Mississippi with a couple million and disappear from the BB scene. I hear rhey have some good shrimp and fish down in those parts...

  • He is a traitor and a douche bag. The US National Anthem does not demand any belief in any certain religion, his refusal to stand for the song is a sign of deeper issues he has with his Mommy.

We don't want or need 'America Haters' here on our shores. If he is happy in Japan then he can just well stay there and rot with all the other 2nd class shmucks.

  • first of all, this guy is a really good shooter.. I mean pure shooter. he is really good!

anyone who is a citizen of the us should respect our national anthem period.

But it is unfair for many foreign players to play our national anthem in the beggining of every game. it sux to see his career in the NBA destroyed bec. of that.

  • Happiness don't pay your bills! He's an idiot! If he can't stand for the U.S anthem then what the fuck is he doing in America?

  • On the topic of basketball he was one of the purest.

  • he is automatic

  • Chris jackson will always be a legend in our hometown of Gulfport! The anthem bs was ridiculous he was a damn good baller i remember him ai gulfport high and days at LSU he put up more points a game than shaq and could shoot lights out!!!

  • Chris was sick....I modeled my game after his....straight buckets!!!!

Check out my basketball highlight videos.

  • they call him...praying to the muslim gods!!!

  • @chitoz666 Not Gods, God.

  • fuck david stern and fuck america too...making a big deal bout the anthem i dont give a shit bout the anthem and i was born here too

  • The ridiculus part of this case is that it's not even in an international game. Why using national anthem in all the national games in every sports in USA ?

National anthem should only be played when our counrtry is playing against another country, like everywhere, but not for a town against another town.

It's too much patriotism, to the point that it's not a good thing, because it lead to case like that.

  • Fuck the jew david stern! he ruined this potential legend

  • Jackson did it to himself, you idiot.

  • Fuck off you jew lover

  • whats the name of the first song?

  • Gravel Pit by Wu Tang

  • Wow...watching him at McNichols was a treat

  • It's sad. the NBA want to get rid of the thug image, but when he stood up for something, he got blackballed from the NBA.

  • Because it is the religion of god

  • they black-balled him becuase he wouldnt stand for the national anthem,

  • i met this dude in real life n he is a pretty kool dude so dont question his religion he is a great player

  • Do you say this from your own misconceptions about Islam or from the authentic teachings of Islam? I can use the latter to disprove your points.

  • You could, except you can't disprove anything. Islam is an ancient cult.

The question is WHY are you a Muslim?!!

  • illicit sexual acts, let alone rape, are explicitly forbidden in Islam in a number of verses in the Quran, such as 17:32. Murder if forbidden in verse 5:32 and others.

I have brought forth my evidence refuting the claims against Islam. Where is your evidence to support what you are saying?

  • A cult comprised of 1.5 billion people worldwide, the fuck you smokin' dude lol

  • all religions are cults lol... noone is the religion they are if it wasnt forced upon their ancestors... so honestly i dont take religious people seriously unless they look into all religions before the sell themselves to one...

  • I would pay anything to see Iverson v Abdul-Rauf. And it is true CJ has torched MJ one on one.

  • whats the name of the song?

  • Whether or not he is Islamic, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, or anything else, he can play. I might not agree with him on his religion, but the man does stand up for what he believes in. That is something to respect. I have family that has fought ni WWII and Vietnam, so I was never thrilled when he called America all of those things. He has his right too, and while he may not want to say it, I feel like he is happy every single day for what this country has given him.

  • btw, I think most LSU fans would agree with me when I say "thank you" for all that you did for LSU

  • what's the second tune on this video??

  • AZ rather unique

  • chris jackson used to beat jordan 1on1, he is extremely skilled and was very underrated during his time in the nba

  • wow my name is chris jackson as well. i wonder if i can play as good as chris jackson

    i probably can

  • Not even close.

  • lol... you're too harsh hahaha :)

  • abdoul-rauf is one of the best players that i've ever known and he born the same day as me. he's god!!

what is the name of the song?

    thank you!!

  • nation of islam did those things because malcolm and kareem accepted true islam. nation of islam are not muslims

  • one thing about America that will always remain a constant it is Prejudice. There's not one religion without their history of violence. Catholics, Christians, Jews, all have stains. It seems that in this country only black people/muslims are allowed to be stereotyped. But no other race/no other religion wants to be judged by what others that worship like them or resemble them has done but there's always enough prejudice to go around for blacks/muslims

  • You area misguided fool. You think someone would throw away his fame to be like someone else? He is a man with values and morals, and he is clearly the kind of guy that knows what he's doing instead of just doing what he is told. And don't speak about Islam until you know something. Killing Malcolm and blowin the towers were acts of extremism opposed by the Muslim community even today.

  • Does anyone remember his 3/4 court buzzer beater to win the game?

  • The second most prolific scorer in college behind Pistol Pete. He deserved to be an all star in 94', I was ticked when he didn't make it.

  • My fav player..GREAT ATTITUDE he was really calm .. what i have noticed is that Muslims are real calm real intresting...

  • My grandpa played basketball with this guy. No joke. Played with him at gulfport high.

  • one of the greatest players ever.

  • He started most of the time in the earlier part of his career.

He will forever be remembered for not standing up during the Anthem.

  • Its a free country!! He is entitled to his own beliefs

  • he's just stating the facts. that's what he's remembered for

  • the ignorance we live through in America, no wonder the rest of the world is catching up to us.

  • Islam is an ignorant religion. It was sad to see Jackson get sucked into that.

  • @Senorromeo4u ironic that being in this "oppressive" and "tyrannical" country allows him to say these things.

  • he was a machine, i think he was best sixth player

  • Except he was a starter for most of his career and led the Nuggets in scoring for 5 seasons. How is that a sixth man?

  • he was actually the sixth man his 1st 2 years in denver. he was a full time starter only 3 years in which he led his team in scoring
