Hate to burst your bubble Danica fabs, but she was bever a factor in Indy. She never had the lead, and basically chased Helio and Wheldon all the way. At she everybody knows she can compete in a 500 mile race.

Not quite sure that's accurate - THIS YEAR, she may never have been a factor (and that's even debatable)....but I seem to recall her first year running Indy, she led quite a few laps, and would have been in position to win that one, if not for a costly mistake on Pit Road - let's face it, she can compete (maybe not win consistently, but she CAN compete!)

@knightryderrwn I was talking about THAT year. Danica can finish in the top ten of any race, but maybe the bad decisions of her crew have prevented her from winning more races. Any driver can be beaten by his own people.

i was gonna say this race was won by the team rather than the driver, but it is deserved from races such as texas and michigan last year, where she should have won

Texas? Maybe.... Michigan? She wasn't leading and battleing for the win... there was only few really fast cars left in the field at the end of the race and Patrick screwed up that's all.... That wasn't a real racing for win. This race was won by Danica and AGR. Driver and Team has made a good job and they've won. That's all. This was a nice race.

I dont think it was fixed if youy actually watched the race not just these highlights she slowed way down and let everyone including Helio blow by and she was able to bump up her fuel knob and blow past them with 3 to go it was just great strategy....Congrats Danica

I would prefer Tony George over Bernie Ecclestone and Max Moseley. If it was fixed which I strongly doubt, at least they didn't move other on the line (Austrian GP 2002 Barrichello/Schumacher). And as for "Go fuck yourself IRL" - Go fuck yourselfs F1 (and not some nazi hookers MOSELEY).

Yes, Helio was told to let her go by, because if he had tried to run with her, he would have ended up on the apron, out of fuel, and would have lost precious championship points. And what car were you listening to? At the end, he was almost six seconds behind her. In Helio's own words, "I didn't have enough fuel, even if I wanted to, to fight with her."
