Never been to BC, but been to the Metrodome many times. An expected side effect of the dome's unique ceiling and shape caused it to hold in sound very well. It can get very, very loud there. They used to have a horn that sounded when the decibels reached 100 - that is about as loud as a harley revving.

It is louder than Arrowhead and Qwest, but those are both open air stadiums, so it may not be a good comparison.

Nice try, that happened for a total of two games in the past 11 seasons. And both times the # of tickets was less than 3000. In a doe that seats 65,000 for football, that means it was still over 95% full of screaming fans.

However, while it gets very, very loud there, I wouldn't call it the biggest home field advantage anymore.
