I'm confident of this because trying to relate a car that has leaf springs and a 50 year old engine, to a state of the art German engineered masterpiece that uses the latest suspension management and variable vane turbo technology is a sure sign of idiocy. I test drove the Z06 before I bought a 997 C4S cab. Both are very diff cars with diff ideas about how to go fast. While some like the Z06, I like the form following function and engineering of the Porsche. Hard to argue with the quality/fit/finish. The Z06 is great bang for the buck - but if we all liked the same stuff we'd all drive the same cars. DULL!!
hey why the hell are you comparing a Z06 To a GT2 First Of All the GT2 Is A better car and its better engineered than the Z06 The Z06 Is Fast On the drag strip but the porsche is better in track and drag strip the GT2 Has better handling and better acceloration than The Z06

I hate American cars!!!But the Z06 is a good car it has its own personality and it gives you good time on Nurburgring 7.42sec that is a very good time for Z06 so I think the Porsche lover is wrong you cant avffend the Z06 by saying that is piece of shit! its a good car for its money!
The Z06 is a piece of shit, it's a shame to compare a car like that to a Porsche. The only thing the Z06 can do is driving foreward, even a normal 911 would fuck the Vett on any race track.
Olaguma: Chevrolet would love to hear that. I believe the GT2 costs roughly twice as much as the Z06. Team Corvette has also been spanking Porsche in the racing series. So yeah the Z06 is deffenetly the car to beat.
porsche and z06 don't race in the same class. the gt1 class that c6r is in allows for more modifications. the gt2 class that porsche is in is more road spec, lets see z06 in gt2 and see how it fares.

There is no way you can compare a Z06 to a 997 GT2... Not even a older model 993 GT2 (they are the best tho... :D)
I have driven a modified 996 GT2 and they are absolutely MINT!! Cant wait to drive the 997...
