  • Notice it's his dad

  • those headsets are loud, i wouldnt recomend it

  • U realize u have to grease ur headset

  • @gooooblaster1800 ther isnt any cups on a integrated just bearings and top cap as the deck has cups intergrated into it :)

  • i used a vice and it worked fine at its so much easier

  • Anyone know if this will work with integrated headsets?

  • use a bench press dumb ass

  • did u take helium that morning when you made this vid??

  • that is the worst way to do that

  • shoes :)

  • How do u tighten up the headset

  • This should work the same with any headset on any scooter as long as the cups that come on your scooter are previously removed, if you are just buying new bearings for your headset then you will just have to place them into your current cups (assuring they fit) and then finish the process as shown in part 3. I hope that helps anyone with questions about which headset can fit in what scooter and stuff like that.

  • @joshyk99 dumb ass they wont cost $300

  • are you a boy or girl

  • do those blunt headsets fit on JDbugs?

  • @mrrandomepisodes1 I'm not to sure if they fit JDbugs, ask around and i'm sure you will get an answer, sorry i couldn't help.

  • On. Thread less headset you there is no point

  • Ur an idiot u don't put a threaded fork on a thread

  • @joshyk99 u can use a g clamp as well

  • i think you should buy new grip tape befor you go and buy a headset.

  • what type of headset is that

  • @MySoccerlegend Its a Blunt threadless headset you can buy them for around $40 to $50. they run very smoothly quickly and they have enclosed bearings which means that dirt and dust can not get in and slow down or stuff up the bearings.

  • r thoes threaded forks

  • @thomasboi14 Yes they are.

  • @joshyk99 thank u

  • @shotgunkman y don't u use the vice to put the cups in it's so much quicker

  • @whipcatchproductions can't use a vice i don't have one :(

  • What the hell! at 2:55

  • the reason it took so long for u to hit it in is because razor sucks ur non pubetic balls

  • your annoying and need to hit puberty

  • use a vice to hold your scooter while hammering it in.

  • thank you :)

  • out and about? coz i carry a cloth peice of wood and hammer everywhere i go lol

  • y do u have a ring on ur left ring finger??? r u married or sumtn

  • @CreativeHam720p i was kidding

  • Thx this helped a lot

  • does the razor ultra pro scooter have threaded forks? so you can put on threadless headset on it

  • it takes me two minets to do all teses prcesses

  • YOu helped alot thanks

  • you can do all this shit or just take it down to your local bike shop and they'll do it properly.

  • is it

  • lol at 2:57 the dog comes in holdin a bear thing in his mouth

  • the guy hammering it in is a hobbit

  • @SkateParkEdits because im not a pedo

  • dont use a hammer dumb fuck use a vice

  • @SkateParkEdits no shit cunt allready been said

  • I'm pretty sure that yo can use a bmx headset on any type of decent scooter and yes you need the lock nut. If you use a special liquid called lock tight that you can buy from your local hardware store and apply that to the top of the forks (where the lock nut goes) and then put the lock nut on it should keep it tight for a much longer period of time.

  • @joshyk99 You should never hammer in headset cups as this can potentially damage both the cups and steerer tube. You should compress the headset cups into the steerer tube using a bearing cup press and also apply grease on the inside of the steerer where the cups sit to prevent them seizing. This will you to easily remove the cups at a later date if so required.

  • *This will HELP you to easily remove the cups at a later date is so required

  • can u use a bmx headset for a scooter??

  • @AbelBMXER777 That's what this guy did.

  • you retard, you cannot put threaded forks on threadless headset. you don't need any nut or anything, you need scs compression smart fuck

  • Or dont be a cheapskate and buy some compression u fag.

  • Can i use a mallet?

  • @sk8kidryan14 Yes it will work better and quicker if you use a mallet i just couldn't find my mallet so i couldn't use t in the video.

  • @joshyk99 okay whats the differents between a threadless and threadless sealed.

  • why not use the side of the hammer

  • just take a rubber mallet and hammer everything on! it goes on a lot better, doesnt take as much time cuz then you can see how its going in

  • Comment removed

  • vERRYYY Helfull Thank yOU Im doing the same with eco headset with xt forks and district v2 deck

  • needed to no how to do itand this video is gr8 thanks

  • And shoes lol

  • Get a mullet

  • Thank U , Very Much !

  • how did u get your crown race off

  • @MrScoot331 As you can see in part 3 of the step to install a threadless headset it shows you that you just have to slip a chizel or a little flat head screw driver underneath and hammer the end of the chizel or what ever you using until it pops off.

  • Cool, what tool is that?

  • it only cost 35 dallors for the right tool

  • that thing isn't for bikes. why would it be for bike if its a scooter brand headset. its for an scs...

  • @STLScoot3rMast3r Yeah i know i realised when i said it was for bikes that i had just made a big mistake and i was gonna look like an idiot on youtube but it would have been to hard fot me to do the whole video again so i just kept going.

Sorry if anyone found that misleading.

  • why are you using threaded forks with a threadliss headset

  • @crowser345 Because they're the only forks i had.

  • I'm getting a blunt ace of spades deck with blunt stripper bars and threaded forks but I need a headset wtf should I get,

  • @JonRozek4 Seeing as you are getting alot of blunt product i would reccommend the blunt threadless headset. It willstill fit threaded forks just like mine and they are one of the best headsets around and they only cost about $45.

    I Hope that could help.

  • hate to tell you but you are not suppose to put a thread less head set on threaded forks..... you can still do it but the lock nut will come lose

  • @abcd12342148 it only will if you put ur heaset on crooked it has to perfectly straight. unlike u

  • @abcd12342148 For me its worked fine and the lock nut hasn't come loose after three months of riding so it worked out fine.

  • im glad thus has helped me very much

  • it is really helpfull thx

  • ily

  • what headset is it caus i wanna get one but i dont now which one to get would someone tell me some good ones

  • Hate to tell you but I have the same headset and it is the shittiest thing

  • dont u neeed the bearing

  • thanks so much great tutorial

  • @MrAwesomelil Im glad i could help

  • I bought the headset from Da Klinic in Adelaide

  • where did you buy this

    headset

  • @WILLIAM7077 I bought it at Da Klinic in adelaide

  • @WILLIAM7077 da klinic in adelaide

  • remember not too hit to hard, meanwhile BANG BANG BANG BANG!

  • do you have to pop the bearing race thats already on your forks off?

  • @DNJBMX YES! make sure to take it off, if your new headset comes with a new bearing race.

Watch all 5 videos in order, and that should show you how to take off the race and the cups and then fully assemble it.

  • hey what size is your headset pleez respond i have a blacklabel ultra pro deck and dont know what size i need

  • @svallejo123 1 1/8 inch headset

  • @DistrictScooterz k thank u

  • Will it work with MADD TEAM EDITION ?

  • @JEFFLAVARIASONLINE1 I haven't tried it on any other scooter but i'm pretty shore it should work with any decent scooter.

  • @JEFFLAVARIASONLINE1 yeah it should work with any scooter just make sure to knock out the cups like in the first and second video. BUT ONLY KNOCK OUT THE ORIGINAL CUPS IF YOUR NEW HEADSET COMES WITH NEW CUPS!

  • sorry about that i cant think of any reason why it would be creeking, make sure that you have got a lock nut on like i showed in my last video, otherwise i cant thing of anything else. if it keeps happening try putting lock tight (a special glue) on the lock nut when you tighten it.

    Hope it helps.

  • yes it did work for me for about a week. for some reason now its creeking like a bitch! do you know why this is because ive tightened it up so it doesnt wobble and it just creeks and doesnt spin very fast. really annoying, waste of £30 atm. help! :L

  • thanks man that helped loads :)

  • @icantbebotheredbmx Im glad i could help if you need any other tips on scooters or parts or stuff like that just post it underneath one of my videos and ill either send back tips or make another video!

  • Yep alot smoother, quieter and stronger than the original razor headset.

  • is it still really smooth

  • how much did the blunt headset cost

  • @julius1266 $45 from Da Klinic in Adeladide

    I would deffinetly reccommend it!

  • thanx for letting me know but it still works without it but ive still got that part so i can try it.

    Thanks Joshyk99

  • that part you threw is meant to go on top of the fork

  • @motoxjunky155 Uh, nope? Thats the topcap, starnut and bolt. which is used with SCS or HIC compression. Since he is using threadless he doesn't need it. Although he should keep it for when he realises threadless is a terrible idea.

Don't even bother arguing, I work at a skatepark and build bikes/scooters/skateboards for a living.

  • @connorfilmzz oh really, and i wouldnt argue with someone like yourself ;D

  • @motoxjunky155 you bet you wouldn't

  • @joshyk99 haha lol :D

  • @motoxjunky155 the part he threw away is for threadless forks.

  • @motoxjunky155

only if u have a scs clamp, threadles forks, and oversized bars, as well as the threadless headset

  • What do you mean by dialed?

  • does a head set make your scooter more dialed? please answer

  • @GoProOrGoHome419 i think your bars aree gonna wobble

  • just letting you know that i put it straight on the the scooter the way that it came out of the packet and i have also triple checked and there is no way that it could work if you put the races on the other way.

  • u did it wrong u put the crown race on the fork

  • Yeah it should work the same way with any kind of threadless headset.
