  • Thomas Hearn was superior no valid excuses, do not cry please!

  • Fuck what people say. Duran was a world class beast who never ducked ANYONE! Dude got ktfo by Hearns but still he had a smile on his face. He fought till he was 50 and gave Hagler and Leonard some tough fights even though he was a natural lightweighter (the best ever!).

As Duran once said: "Its all about cojones!"

Win or lose, stepping into the ring no matter the opposition DESERVES RESPECT!

He had something many boxers lack off today

  • When Thomas "Hitman" Hearns drops that left hand, the Flicker Jab comes, and you're fucked. 'Nuff said.

  • Duran: How did SRL knock him out???

If Duran ever thought he was out gunned it had to be after the 1rst knock down. He had to think oh hell I better swing for the fences because if I don't land a big hit real fast like right now this isn't going to end up very good for me. Keep smilin Roberto keep smilin for the cameras.

  • hearns would kick the fighters of today ass

  • Tommy Hearns is in downtown Kalamazoo Mich right now as i watch this video signing autographs.... i have got to go meet him!!!!

  • @TheRobertbonner89 it was his 82nd pro fight. Thats like 2 careers in 1 of any champions we have today.

  • why the fuck was duran smiling the whole time u getting your ass whooped

  • @TheEaglesfanindc It was his type of fight.

  • styles; Duran was Tailor made to get jacked by the hit man

  • @tellthetruthg That's exactly what I was thinking. Hahaha!!

  • @antonio3324 I give Duran style points for going down with that smirk on his face. Even though he had know idea that it was there. it was one of the most classic KO's ever

  • No excuses....Duran should have not gone in there if he was not "feeling' good. He plainly and simply got the hell Knocked OUT!

  • Omg excuses excuses the Mans was 32 Durans wasnt 40 or 38 he was 32. He chose and accepted the fight with hearns and got knocked the fuck out. you guys can come up all the excuses to defend him and justify his lose but plain and simple Duran got knocked the fuck out against the hitman.

  • Bad style match up. Then again anyone fighting Hearns at welterweight is a bad style match up. Not much you can do against that reach, speed, and power coming at you.

  • @Maryjaneslave unless you're SRL. Styles and heart & SRL had enough of every thing to beat Hearns Duran & Hagler. Fought them all in their primes and his and whupped them all

  • @tellthetruthg don't forget that Duran beat SRL on their 1st fight, and lots think that Hearns should have won the 2nd fight.

  • Hearns a young man in his prime fighting a legend who is already passed his prime and half his size I cant believe duran took that abuse and still held his own. Owned you say? Lets put the Hagler/Hearns fight to see real ownage

  • @LuDimezofKush

In what way did Duran hold his own in this fight?

  • Comment removed

  • @LuDimezofKush

Duran wa WBA 154lb title holder until he stepped in the ring and 1983, the previous year, had been a great year for Duran.

Hearns, in boxing terms, was wrong for Duran and Hearns knew this. Hearns record was 39-1.

Duran was under fire in the entire match and never in it.

  • @LuDimezofKush By very end you mean halfway through round one when he hit the canvas for the first time or the very end like a minute into round two?

  • @SamLangford1 In his previous fight Roberto had gone the full15 with Marvellous Marvin Hagler, losing a close decision. His fight record was an incredible 77 wins with only five defeats. He had never been KO’d I guess you right tho...Duran past his prime, Half his size got knocked out pretty bad not half as bad when hagler left him half dead on the canvas tho in pretty much the same amount of time...XD

  • @LuDimezofKush I don't totally disagree with your premise, more so your wording. Duran was never in this fight

  • Wow... Thanks dude! Never thought I can find this version of the fight here... =)

  • Pwned
