Sometimes I feel really blessed that my family, friends and life experience have given me the education and the stimulations necessary to get to know really good music and truly enjoy it. I feel sorry for people that listen to the same crap everyday on their way to work, and can't even process the beauty of a quiet, acoustic, deep song like this.

If you ever have a spare buck give it to the Salvation Army.. They are for real and they don't pay their execs much like other companies..Times are tough for lots now and maybe going to get tougher. Salvation Army helps people get on their feet Clean arms since 78.

Saw this performance on TV but never thought I'd see it again. This version of the song, performed after the audience had gone home, is sublimely gorgeous - just haunting. There's something touchingly melancholic about the fact he faces away from the camera. We're sort of looking in on a man's private communion with his guitar. Thank you very much for posting this.

My absolute favorite version of this song. You can't write a song like this about addiction without seeing its tragic ends up close. Neil has such a vulnerability in his voice that is so striking and genuine.
