Would it be possible for you to make a tutorial as to how to wire the drones/drone launcher to automatically target NPC's?

I have very little experience with WIREmod and as it is nothing like real electronics I get stumped very easily.

@MrDodgeMartin ok thats realy simple what you need is a target finder and a beacon sensor and obviously a drone launcher with no numpad settings set

wire the beacon sensor "target" to the target finder "1" then wire the "X" "Y" and "Z" on the drone launcher to the "world_X" "world_Y" and "world_Z" on the beacon sensor then wire the "lock" "launch" and "kill" on the drone to the target finder "1" and your done

I like to wire up my drones to fly to a GPS location.

After it is wired up, I toss the GPS chip into somebody's ship, and then if they start attacking me, I just turn the drones on.

An easier way is to just toss a drone launcher into their ship after making it invisible.

My friend taught me how to make a chip that sucks people with it into the chip once. So I used it once and captured people into seperate chips. Think of it. People transformed to memory lol. Each time I captured a person I would toss the chip into space, never to be found. :P All from an experienced wire user! YAYZ! THE END!

I don't remember sorry. But they had something to do with a gate chip or something. Make a memory chip and combine it with a harvester. But in order to correctly combine it you must wire a few things.

I'm pretty sure it was simple. You get a memory chip and "somehow" you connect it to a harvester. It transfers the person into the chip and there you go. But I gave up on trying to find how to wire the chip and the harvester together a few months ago. Keep in mind there is ONE flaw. You can type kill in console while you are in the chip to respawn. It's pretty gay, but still it's so fun to mess around with.

If you can't find a way, just make a plain harvester that is relatively small in size, like a soda can harvester, and suck someone up. Once you do that, just toss the can into space. People will probably be like, "Is that a can floating in space?". I've never tried this method but you can suck your teammate into the can and sneak it onto an enemy ship or something, once he's aboard the ship, release him, so he can mess around with their life support oxygen, that would be hilarious.

the only prob with drones is that stargate, cds and gcombat weapons are incompatible with each other. what I mean is that drones can go straight through cds shields and vice versa. pity there isn't a universal shield code which every weapons meant to be stopped by shields would use...

have you saw stargate atlantis? in one of the episodes, the asurans fired an energy beam through a stargate as a method of interstellar artillery. well, you CAN do that with drones... imagine that: while you battles my ship head-on, I dial the gate nearest to you and pump the full output of 5 launchers straight into your ass. the only thing that can beat THAT is the massive lag it causes XD
