National Rasmussen polls taken 7/25-27-08 show Huckabee helps McCain's ticket +8 points, and Romney hurts the ticket a -6 points. Who should McCain pick as his vp? That's a no-brainer, unless he wants to lose.
Survey USA Polls continue to show the Huckabee is the strongest VP choice for McCain. Huckabee actually polled better than Mitt Romney in his home state of Massachusetts!
Join me in sending McCain a message that we want Huckabee on the ticket. Just visit the top Huckabee for VP site: TeamHuckDOTcom
Huckabee supporters, call 703-418-2008 and ask McCain for Huckabee on the ticket as vp! We need this incredible man in Washington. His calm, level-headed demeanor will compliment McCain's fiesty one. They already like and respect each other. Huck brings in conservatives, youth, blacks, and evangelicals to the plate. Help Huck get on the ticket with your calls!!
I was at the Obama rally, and I live in Plano, Texas. There were over 15,000 people at the Obama rally. As I left, I passed hundreds of people waiting outside disappointed that they could not get in. This was almost sad.
True conservatives don't want to expand the government.
True Christians don't lie about their past, nor do they restrict other's choices (Huckabee wants to ban tobacco and he has lied about his past record as Arkansas Governor).
Banning substances is not the purpose of the Federal Government.
Reconstructing the Constitution to fit the Christian worldview may sound great to a Christian, but what about to non-Christians? Do Christians have to right to force the rest of society to follow their beliefs? Enforcing morals through the rule of law has never worked. It has been tried many times before, throughout history.
See Opensecrets()org to see that Huckabee gets a lot of campaign cash from Wall Street.
The United States was the first country to recognize Brazil's independence from Portugal in 1822 and its sovereignty in 1824 which was followed by Portugal and Great Britain in 1825 and also when Brazil became a republic in 1889, the U.S. government was the first to recognize the new regime... it follows that i am a south-american not latin-american on account of the first industrial revolution which was not fully felt until the 1840s... The north-americans are my friends... good luck...
Wow!!! What a powerful charasmatic leader we have in Mike Huckabee!!! Texas and Ohio we are counting on you to do right by Mike and get him wins in your states. This is noat against McCain it is FOR Mike Huckabee. The best choice to lead our country up to a better place. Go Huckabee!!!! Once you are a Huckabee supporter, you cannot even imagine voting for a "substitute".
Think about it, people. If Huckabee were to be elected, and the ONLY thing he accomplished was to get rid of the income tax? Who terrorized the American people more? Al Quaeda, or the IRS? Imagine, taking away the government's ability to coerce, and to try and engineer society through tax policy? No more April Terror? No more worry, or stress, or having to hire someone to comply with this insane system? And, he's the ONLY candidate who has a clue about the true meaning of the Second Amendment.
mike huckabee is definitely the best choice for president. He lost 110 lbs, and is all about America's health, and maybe he'll get us out of our obesity pandemic. But most of all, God leads him, and I don't care about the odds because miracles happen and this guy has got one coming his way. Obama just has alot of fans because he just got popular quick. SCREW OBAMA. VOTE HUCKABEE!!!!!
That's right! A lot of people talk about the school system, poverty, drugs, civil rights or the frikkin war being our biggest problem but the real enemy is obesity.
I hate those fatties!
I'd like to see Barack Obama try to lose 110 pounds; he'd freakin die. Who wants a president like that, amiright?
I'm Canadian. I love Mike. He talk right, looks right, prays right. Down with the tax system, fair health care, defend our borders, be righteous. Go Mike Go!
6 hours to go until I get to see Mike here in San Antonio, Texas! Thank you Plano for suuporting Mike! He's got a lot of support here, too! Mike, you're America's only hope! We're with you all the way to theh White House! I hope tonight will be my first video to post. TEXAS VOTE MIKE HUCKABEE MARCH 4th!!
I can't wait to see Mike tonight here in San Antonio, Texas!! What a rally this is going to be! Hopefully this will be my first video to post! Come on San Antonio, let's overwhelm Mike with support tonight! Vote HUCKABEE!!!
That's a lot of people coming out to support him. He's one guy who really broke out and made an impression this Presidential election season. Being one of America's top five choices for President - no shame in that.
I'd rather a candidate stick it out even when it is mathmatically impossible to win, than puss out early on like Guliani or Edwards. It shows character, and that he won't just back down. I like that. Hopefully he gets elected next time, cause after the world of shit we are in store for (whether it be McCain, Clinton, or Obamma, we are screwed), we'll need a real conservative president to bail us out.
I agree. There were really only two candidates who actually really were talking about change in the huge "change" race; One was Mike Huckabee, the other was Ron Paul. Unfortunately neither seems to have a chance. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for Huckabee. I LIKE MIKE!
When the big talkers first began a hit-job on Huckabee—even though their golden boy Romney has equally significant question marks on his past—I was one of the very first to recognize this as anti-evangelical bigotry.
Anti-evangelical bigotry? You were counting, so can assure us you were among the *very* first?
Evangelicals are fine. I have no problem with his religion. It's his political style to which I object, that somehow repeating a mantra will make it true.
This is what I hear:
"Ignore what I have done in the past, just listen to my fine, mellow pipes today."
Everything gets trivialized, and the most serious questions are answered with glibness.
You're skeptical of Huck's retreat from past mistakes, yet you like Romney? Are you aware of the questions in Romney's past? Not since talk radio chose to push listeners toward Romney as the "viable" choice.
Go to MassResistance-dot-com and see what conservatives in MA have to say about Romney. Then ask why conservative media blacked-out this information.
My point: Do your own research before you buy talk radio's line on Huck. They took a calculated risk--and gave us McCain as a result!
Well, as I said earlier, I was first a Fred Thompson supporter. No matter now, neither Fred, now Mitt nor Huckabee are in, so it is all a waste of time now.

I'm a Ron Paul supporter & voted for Ron Paul in early-voting in Texas.
But I must state that if Ron Paul was not in the race, Huckabee could probably win Texas.
McCain's negative #s are so high, there are few states in the nation were McCain can get over 50%.
Texas might be one of them --- but if so, it would be -- barely.

Whatever his past may be, he's got the right ideas now. Leave room for people to mature. Were you conservative right out of your mom's womb?
I dare you to read Huckabee's platform--which he is swearing to uphold--and point out even ONE position that is not solidly conservative.
Or are you one of those double-standard people who supported Romney even though he made just as many bonehead decisions as gov of Massachusetts?
