He was a student of Timofei Dokshizer. Sadly, he passed away last summer.

Thanks. Man that snare drummer is insane. Such a clean and perfect technique and sound! Very inspiring. I wish i could see a couple of classes with him. Also great for the timpani player. Great snare drum interpretation, the best here on youtube.
