  • Positively Bad-Ass. Fantastic.

  • Paul Rogers only gets better with age. He looks and sounds better than he did 30 years ago!

  • Good music is timeless...after so many years it is still just as good as it was when you first heard it. I so love this song. and Paul Rogers...one of the best voices out there today.

  • My brother used to sing this all the time... played the guitar and sang this. To hear it gives me chills today. I <3 U PJC and I miss you still. Love you bub!

  • Well not only do you still rock I'd love to see some new stuff when I was a kid this came out when I was 13 my 12 year old brother used to ask me to sing it to him wich was kinda strange but I get it now he passed on at 33 seagull you fly across the horizon into the misty morning sun nobody asks you were you are nobody no"s were your from Philip j spataro we miss ya bro and to all the others fly hi 11/24/72()5/26/06

  • Guess what??? Loved this the first time I heard it, still loving it 35 years later..and Paul, your voice is getting even better with age. You are awesome, Love ya!

  • Kids...listen up...THIS is what REAL MUSIC, from a REAL Musician/Singer/Songwriter looks and sounds like. Take Note, because it/he is a dying breed, and you haven't actually seen any in your generation.

  • @jarden69 you haven't actually seen any in your generation?? Are you for real....get in this century man...hell Lindsey Buckingham is still writing music in this generation and there are many many more! I get what you are trying to say I guess but there are many REAL singer/songwriters making great music in this generation...stop and listen you will be pleasantly surprised. But Paul Rogers is one of the greats.

  • @Grastoke Like I said...None is this young generation...Lindsey Buckingham is from Paul Rogers and MY generation....the 70's. What I want to knwo is WHERE are the Paul Rogers and Lindsey Buckingham's of THIS Young generation...they don't exist, and every rock musci critic, and rock fan is lamenting the fact. Rock is dying out as the young generation turns its tastes to Justin Bieber, Backstreet Boys, Jonas Brothers, Ghetto Rap, etc.

  • @jarden69 John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Colbie Caleit, Conerr Oberst, Adam Stokes, Ryan Bingham, Andrew Bird to name a few. That is not even touching the surface nor is it getting into the country music genre. BTW Buckingham released his latest effort in 2011..not 1975 so he is a now generation singer songwriter. One thing to consider is the over abundance of genre's of music that just wasn't around in the 70's.

  • @Grastoke Good points...I'll check them all out.

  • @Grastoke Rogers and Buckingham in the 70's did not compete with 50 genre's of music. Not trying to offend at all but just because the age group 8 to 16 are listening to Rap and Justin Bieber does not mean there are not any fantastically talented singer songwriters in this generation. I just feel if you are closed to the thought of new talent you are missing out on some great soulful meaningful music. From one music lover to another. Peace. :)

  • it is my all time favorite from Bad Company...

  • Saw the originals line up in Tulsa OK in October 2010. They were AWESOME!! Bad Company is the best band of their time and even now...

  • @jamn67ang Boz Burrell the original bassist died in 2006. I don't know what bassist you saw but I'm sure the rest were originals.

  • awsom song awsom group

  • Rime of the ancient mariner... very nice, very, very nice!

  • Speechless!!!

  • 48perkins: Brian Howe wasn't much of a loss. If you hear Mick or Simon speak of that era now, they greatly regret it. And Paul's solo projects don't work? Ever check out Muddy Water Blues? Simply brilliant stuff.

  • 9 friggin idiots

  • to my fellow Paul Rodgers fans you gotta check out I Just Wanna See You Smile here on youtube for a different side of his talent. This man can sing anything and make it sweet, soulful, sexy, rockin', or whatever he wants.

  • Staciboo@cox.net

  • absolutely beautiful!!!!

  • Nah-X?...

  • very very very good song!

  • @mtsvns Haven't you ever wondered why this song and Shooting Star doesn't sound a thing like their other stupid song's???

  • @debbyrossouw : Nah...

  • Rogers big time, great voice, top notch.

  • Actually, my x husband whom died in the mid ninties wrote Seagull, and Shooting Star as well as the tune! This stupid band whos name really hits the nail on the head stole all his music as he was asleep at the San Fran airport! He was a guitar player and song writer. So everytime you hear one of these 2 songs just know that Michael Nelson wrote them. Both those songs don't even sound like their other songs. Bad company is what they truly are and their karma will come around for what they did.

  • @debbyrossouw I actually believe you! This song doesn't sound like anything else they've done and, frankly, Joe Bonamassa does it a lot better. Sorry about your ex.

  • @crankychick yup, it's true,,, glad I finally tried to make it public news just to get it off my chest. Wasn't right what they did by stealing. My x never made it to the top, he in fact had a big alcohol problem and when he died we had been broke up for a long time. But that song is his spirit,,, not that stupid bands... hope more people read this and are not brain dead enough to think that that wouldn''t happen. I'll listen to Joe B's version tho, thx! Always change channel if they r on radio..

  • @txlastrebel think what u like retard, I know what I know, thats all that matters. Not what sheeple or groupies think, bye moron

  • @debbyrossouw Since you like to name call. Look bitch. Those songs were written in the early 70"s in England so how is it that they stole them from some drunk at SFO airport..

  • @txlastrebel Listen here punk asshole, why don't you crawl under a rock with all the other ignorant pissants who hang around with bad company. I"ve said my piece, I don't give a rat's ass if u believe it or not. I know it's true. And da!!! It happened many many years ago in the 70's most likely when their ugly butts were touring. You don't have a clue where or when these songs or any songs were written so keep it in your own buz. kma Choi moron

  • @txlastrebel lol,, you sound like a "christian" with all your hate. You also sound like you like to assume things. For one thing I don't even drink, I hate booze with a passion. You are very ignorant and don't want to to waste my time on a piece of shit such as you, very immature. So, refrain from writing to me again or I will consider it to be assault. You sound so foolish and hateful. Use that last comment on urself. I have to much to live for, sounds like you don't. Good Riddence asshole

  • @debbyrossouw I'm responding to a public forum as are you...

Christian no fn way..... You started this attack on me just because I did not believe you. What's the matter can't handle the fire then get out of the kitchen. ROTFLMFAO

  • @debbyrossouw sOUNDS LIKE YOUR TAKING THE SAME SHIT YOUR DEAD HUSBAND DIED FROM,,,WACKED OUT RETARD

  • @txlastrebel Seagull

Is it true that your late husband Michael Nelson, wrote seagull and shooting star?. I've always thought those two songs seem out of place for Bad Company songs. I always figured they where ghost written by producers or someone near the band. I also wonder about Simple Man? Do you have tapes or written lyrics by your late husband? People sued Led Zeppelin for several recordings of theirs. Hell half of their first 3 albums where plagiarized. (not all people are morons)

  • @debbyrossouw

its amazing what people will believe these days...even with no proof whatsoever. just because the song sounds different than the rest of their songs, doesn't mean its not their song. I've heard hundreds of bands that have 1 or 2 songs that sound different. Even though there is no proof that "debbyrossouw's" x wrote the song, lets just assume he did for a moment. Would he not be honored to have a respected band carry on his legacy by playing his song? I sure a heck would.

  • That was beautiful!!! with the C4, oh man... is this? staged? =P I got my first triple kill today with mortar strike and am pretty psyched =) I just got working cheat and mappack from GetBattlefieldNow(dot)tk

  • @alejandrafollman33 this is bad company the band not BFBC dumbass

  • Who's the idiots that gave this a thumbs down?

  • @txlastrebel just that there diots

  • @txlastrebel No shit!!

  • @txlastrebel

    Who are.

  • @txlastrebel Mehmehmt an AKhmed

  • @txlastrebel whoever it was must be fuckin nuts!

  • @txlastrebel A Justin Bieber fan?

  • @txlastrebel as of now 16 shitheads!!!

  • @txlastrebel No one cares....He's an IDIOT!

  • killer.......

  • This is really good, but the best version I've heard is from the Hard Rock Live concert in Florida in '08. Gives me chills every time I listen. Paul looked very relaxed and happy to be in front of his Bad Co. crew and performed impeccably. They MUST come back to Texas so I can see them live. It's the ONLY thing on my bucket list. Except for perhaps a time machine so I can be a FREE groupie.

  • @BacTgirl I agree, this version is great, but the Hard Rock one with Mick strumming along is goose-bump inspiring! If you haven't seen it, check out Paul doing this on the Queen Plus Paul Rodgers Live in the Ukraine dvd. Another very, very good performance of one of the best songs ever.

  • @misspurdy1000 Thanks, misspurdy. I'll check that out. BAD CO is going to be in Tulsa, OK in October and I'm going to be there. Already reserved my room.

  • Isnt he just adoreable??? Love you Paul!

  • I saw Paul 30 yrs ago when I was just a teenager n it was the greatest concert of all time. His voice was just awsome...Then I was blessed to see him 2 more times..The Merchants of Cool Tour n Paul Rodgers Live in Concert on June 17th in Lamoore Ca. 2010. And Paul still brings out the awsome voice that touches your heart...This song brings me back to those days. I even was lucky enough to touch his hand...Hes a classic legend in my eyes.

  • I've always loved Bad Co but I had forgotten about this one song. Now I can't stop watching and listening to this video. I crave it. I learned it on guitar and I sing along and pretend that I'm him although I know I'm not. He's one of a kind. He plays with such feeling. What a powerful voice.

  • Wow! Words literally escape me (no easy task if you've ever been around me). Quite simply the BEST there is, was and more than likely ever will be. THE voice of rock and roll.

  • wow what a voice!

  • Agree with all comments! He has the best, most powerful, inspirational voice and melody I've ever heard. G-d bless him! Can't wait to see him this summer at Casino Rama!

  • one of the best voices ever!!
