  • Props from Florida!

  • Is that a 737 Boeing? lol Nice work lot of stuff you put in there!

  • Looks good mate.... Cant wait to see your next video with it on the road.

  • Nice!

  • Very coo! l sent you a pm

  • Wow that sounds nice!

  • wonder how much that 5.3 with trans costs in the UK its like $2000 here or around 1200-1500 quid

  • @A2Bproductions1 From memory, somewhere around $700 for engine (with 4L60E) and $400 for the 4L80E. Plus shipping to the UK.

  • The engine came without an ECU, but in any case I'm a developer of the Megasquirt-3 system, so like using my own system. Megasquirt-3 has progressed since this video and is now full retail from DIYautotune and others. My car has made little progress!

  • What is the benefit of running a megasquirt if the LM7 already comes with coil on plug and EFI from the factory? It seems like it would be so much easier just tuning the factory EFI for the turbos.

  • @v12tommy you cant tune as accurately as you need to with a factory module, that and you can use TONS of other programs with a megasquirt.

  • You are quite the pioneer, jsmcortina. What's the latest on that setup and have you anymore updates?

  • Did you blow the charge hose off? I know that sound! :)

  • He is using his own transmission controller firmware that he wrote.

  • :O thats awesome

  • Are you using MegaShift software in the MicroSquirt controller? And patiently awaiting for restock on the MS3.

  • Running full sequential injection, huh? Megasquirt has come quite a ways. Not too shabby. Well done.

  • Beast!

  • i'm thinking to myself, damn this dude's pretty good with MS, then realize its James Murray, LOL.

  • Yeea love the sound of turbo spooling up!!!

    Very cool clip.

PS hope you managed to sort out the "frankenstein" wiring. =D

    10/10

  • verry awesome- i need to get back into the forums and do more reading now my prelude is rebuilt-- jsm, is the ms3 able to run fully sequential cop and injection on a v12, or is it currently restricted to a v8?

i personally have no need for that as im into 4 cyl powered cars but i might eventually build something with a v12!

keep up the great work mate and look faward to catching up with you and matt on the forums!!

  • And i thought fitting a 302 with ms2 in a capri was hard.. (actually the ms2 isnt propper adjusted yet.. im finishing the (9") rearaxle)

Verry cool you did some ms3 tests on a capri :)

When can we expect the ms3 in shop?

  • Looking like early 2010.

  • 4l80e? or 4l60e?

  • 4L80E. The controller should run a 4L60E too.

  • You're a better man than me, I don't have the patience to do a swap on anything beyond the 90's.

  • That things going to be nuts!
