Raining is pouring outside as I sit next to the window. The pitter-patter of raindrops make a sporatic pattern of water on the glass, trickling down ever so slightly. All I can do is reminisce of the old, think of what would've, could've, should've been... Sadness creeps in to the depths of my heart and in order to subdue this pain are these melodic notes streaming in effortlessly, as if my emotions are pouring out.

Thus skipping out on life that is slowly "passing by..."

This song makes me think of a man standing on a busy sidewalk, just waiting. He sees a beautiful woman walk past and he begins to think of what would happen if she was his wife. In his mind he thinks of asking her to marry him, their wedding, and their life together. At the key change he thinks of their children. At 3:52, she comes back to him and they walk hand in hand down the sidewalk together.

Listening to this song makes me think of a scene where I am standing still in the middle of a busy walkway with so many people brushing past me.

Kagome is telling him that because he still loves Kikyo, she can't "have a place in his heart." So she's going back home.. And Inuyasha has an internal monologue. At the end of it, it echos, "Kagome-gome-gome-gome-gome...­" And then he yells, "KAGOME!" whilst chasing after her... He catches up, and hugs her for a REAAALLY long time, not saying a thing.. one. single. tear. Aaaannnd SCENE! :D
