I have to completely agree with Extmalcolm. Punk originally was a classification to all music that was unclassifiable. Hell, even the B-52s were classified as punk with Blondie, The Cure, The Ramones, and many other bands. So you can see how mixed up this classification of music can be. Adam just found a new way to be "punk" and packaged it with the name of Atom and his Package. By denying what this really is is just showing how little you know about the music you listen to.

NoFX i like. I can't really diss them, but they are more Pop Punk than anything. Real Punk Rock is the Ramones, Germs, Buzzcocks, Clash, Sex Pistols, Black Flag etc.

I like Atom and I like Bad Religion, and although I'm disappointed you don't like Bad Religion, I know that not every person who listens to punk is going to like every punk band. And I respect your decision.

Yes, Bad Religion brought punk to the public and made it more mainstream, but they also helped save punk by doing that.
