kittens cry while holding if they are afraid of being dropped, i think. Two weeks ago i was holding my mom's friend's little kitten who was maybe 3 weeks old. I couldn't grab her legs very well, when she realized she was stepping into nothing she was panicking and crying it was heartbreaking.. I let her down and grabbed again and this time held her legs too, she wasn't crying at all (: and btw little kittens are the sweetest thing in the world!<3

I intended on having only one but I changed my mind on the last minute and thought that he's going to be lonely,so I took his brother too :) No names yet,but I'm thinking of Murkis ("the purring one" in Lithuanian) for one of them. Anyway,they are adorable,I could watch them for hours :)

@MIkoKagome2 What you're saying is very true! However, I have read that you shouldn't hold cats under their arms only, because it might cause some kind of injury (I don't remember which one, though). Their feet should actually be supported as well. Of course, I'm not saying that the person holding the cats is willingly causing them any pain, don't get me wrong! I also see that she (or he?) is supporting their chests as well, so I don't think any harm has been done!

@MIkoKagome2 Yah, kittens are the loudest creatures ever. I had one, used to sit on the floor in front of a full bowl of food and cry all night. We could never figure out what was wrong, but she stopped eventually.

@Ray47x2 Just because you own a few animals does not make you a all knowing expert on them. And if you want to measure expertise based on how many animals you own we can do that too. Before my family moved we had 2 monitor lizards, more snakes then I can even remember, 2 rabbits, saved around 40 feral cats (adopted most of them off only kept about 7... Yes I said only), 3 dogs, rats and mice, leg less lizard, many ducks (one blind he was awesome) and even more but I'm out of room sadly.
