While his intentions may be good with this bill of his, it really misses the essential problem with the cleaning industry. Simply put, virtually ALL cleaning and personal care products today contain toxic chemicals. Simply labelling(while good) misses the point entirely. A lot of these products are completly unnessary as well as immensely harmful to people and the enviroment. An outright bad would get to the root of the problem.
I agree, There should be symbols used to quickly identify chemicals. the same symbols used to transport them. This would also help with picking a cleaning product that best fits the job.
oooh nice little pun at the end there :P shouldn't he also make it that you know what the chemicals can cause, it's all well and good knowing whats it in but just like what the doctors tell you, it's all jargon unless you know what it means, no disrespect to medicine or anything there btw
What I'm sick of and I think you should include in your bill, is for the big cleaning corporations to stop bullshitting us and give us REAL facts and not for me to hear that it killed '99.9% of all Germs/Bacteria', all that means other than misinformation is the fact that no matter if we live another 2000 years, technically that'd mean we won't advance in our household cleaning products, it will remain 99.9% til we DIE since nothing can be 100%

Do household chemicals have to pass ASTM requirement before selling to customer?
Anyway, i think that the Act will be good because it improve openness and transparence of consumer products.

I think he is right. We do deserve to know what sorts of toxins are used in the cleaners that we use.
Keep up the good work!
