The point was to cause as much hurt and torment as they possibly could, and to be honest in day to day life i have the same thoughts and at times given a couple of guns i would do it. For years i've felt left out, bullied and fucked with and i think this is what they felt. I feel an extreme animal rage just looking at pictures of all the happy, beautiful, attractive people socialising while i'm stuck at home.

i can't be sure but i think i empathise deeply with Dylan and Eric, at times i admire.

Thank you for being one of the very few people who remembered the wounded as well as the dead. Valeen Schnurr was the one that they asked if she believed in God, after they already shot her. The story about Cassie Bernall was essentially based on a complete mix-up.

There is more than one account, it could be very possible that they asked both individuals as two separate people believe that they heard both Valeen and Cassie have similar dialog with the killers.

No way to know for sure, either way, I believe they live on in more than just our memory. And it is tragic that we so often forget the wounded.

Her mothers book was candid about there being disputing accounts, which is to be expected considering the chaos. Her friend who was fairly close still supports that account of the story. Fairly moot point though, it was a horrifying event that caused a rather intense revival for a lot of teenagers. I know it had a huge impact on my perspective.
