PX5 Preset Manager Setup Tutorial

my problem: how do u reset every preset to default...just like a brand new one....

and i can hear my friends clearly but they say they can hear me but very low...ho do i raise the volume.. i tried raising the mic volume on ps3 to 5 and thats all i can think of..please someone help!!!!!1

Ok when I plunged the head set in and then a few seconds later it rebooted and now the headset will not turn on can anybody seggest what I should do?

@Alaskan64 You are supposed to restart your computer after the program finishes the initial set up for the headsets, not windows. Windows gives you a pop giving you the option to restart now or later. Ignore that message until after the program finishes.

@RzevlReact You are supposed to use the usb cable that comes with the headset and plug it into the usb port of your computer but I did not even get one, or maybe I just lost it, I can not remember.

I just bought the PX5 MW3 Special edition and had no problem loading my presets thanks to your video.... My question is... Turtle beach stated that you can have up to 16 presets...How do I do that? I have 8 right now but would love to save 8 more identical presets but turn chat volume off. I turned chat volume off on my number 1 preset but would rather not. Thanks

When i attach my px5 to a pc the Turtlebeach advanced sound editor wont find my px5 :( i have tryed 4 different computers plzzz heelpp!

@ullern20 open the program, make sure the usb is unplugged, make sure the headset is turned off, now put the headset volume to max then while holding the presets button plug it into the usb, now it should say at bottom in bootloader mode, now go across to the configuration tab, then near the update bit click the [...] look for your turtlebeach folder in program files or wherever, then go into downloads then choose the latest version that you have, should connect and be how you left it.

Whenever i download the file from turtle beach (im downloading MW3_SuperSoldier) i unzip it and then put file under SavedPresets........ its called [DH] MW3_SuperSoldier .... When i go to the editor and look for it it just shows all the default presets...nothing has been added. HELP?

To upload a preset, you need to click the "upload to headset" button then select the slot number you want to upload the preset to. You need to go through both of these clicks.YOU HAVE TO DO THIS IN THE RIGHT ORDER !

I ended up making another account through an alternative email of mine and managed to get the verification in my emails on that account.

'verification code' when you are registering a new account with turtle beach and click 'register' button, the email you used in the registration process will receive a 'verification code'. It won't be in inbox so check your spam mail just in case and you should have the code to enter the customisation area. Hope this helped!! Nice video btw!! :)

@emerica505 yes but you need two optical cables (1 comes with the px5) the other you have to buy, you plug the optical cable in to the ps3 then into the optical out on the pvr and plug the other optical cables into optical out on the pvr and into the optical in on the turtle beach wireless dock.

hey guys, i have tested almost every preset and i found the best one for cod black ops is for sure the dynamic treble boost. its far better than footstep mastery. its good for hearing reloads, bomb plants, footsteps, clamore plants, basically everything u want to hear. plus there is like no wind noise that a lot of other presets have. trust me try it out, u wont b dissappointed.

@WaaaaaZaaaa33 you have to register it as a new device first. go settings, accessory settings, manage blutooth device, register new device. click register new device at the bottom and hit the bt mfb button on ur px5s right ear. that should be it.

Hey PapdumGeek, I've recently purchased the PX5's and frequently play Black Ops, now the only trouble I'm having is deciding whether to use:

Footstep masterey

Dynamic bass boost

Superhuman hearing

I use ninja all the time so logically footstep masterey would be the ideal choice, however although you can hear steps clearly other sounds are muted or high pitched, i also like a lot of bass and other game sounds.
