  • what I am trying to say is that people usualy look only one side of the coin and don't see that it has two sides... You judge too easely, we already have one russian champion that used KGB(Karpov)... And now Karpov supports Kramnik. There is also a joke about the toilet too: Kramnik sees Topalov's move and goes to the toilet. He removes the coverage of the ceiling and there is... Kasparov! :D LOL

  • 50 trips to restroom per game... seems a bit rude to me...

  • I believe Kramnik's version. No wonder Anand, Kasparov and other GMs are behind him. I think that toiletgate was a psych ops by Topalov's team. After reading about this whole scandal,it sounds like a operation straight out of intelligence operatives manual to undermine Kramnik's psychological state.

  • Probably the machine was getting advise from Kramnik in that bathroom

  • @TipoQueTocaelPiano Hahahahahahahahaha!!!

  • usually when you throw mud at someone some of it sticks and even if the accused is found not guilty by the court of public opinion there remains that nagging doubt and his reputation is - if only ever so slightly - slightly tarnished .... but not in this case b/c EVERYONE, even Topalov's biggest supporters, know that Kramnik is totally innocent while Topalov's camp is universally regarded as guilty of the very lowest, cheapest, skulduggery.

Topalov and Danailov are an absolute disgrace

  • @SovereignFOTL Their maches against Anand show who is bether: Kramnik lost 2 rounds before the end of the mach, and that was a fiasco, as for Topalov he lost too, but in the last game and after he got married(this usually lowers the strenght of a chess player). Still the duel in the top is going to be Anand - Gelfand.

  • @amenslemirii i'd usually support the western European (am a big Carlsen fan) - but not in this case

  • in chess there is always that one guy thats really good but very arrogant topalov even though i have not met him his actions or so disgraceful in this instance that it leads me and perhaps others to believe he is not of good character, it is important to note that i have nothing against topalov but i do not (even if kramnik was cheating ) approve of his actions. think what you will but his behavior was rather immature on his part

  • Scandalous behaviour from topalov. Sure, i was not there, but kramnik was thrashing grandmasters when he was 14 years old, and of course in 2000 in a 16-game match (Although only 15 games were played) he defeated a certain "monster from baku" BY 2 CLEAR WINS AND ZERO DEFEATS. Phew, playing 15 games against gary kasparov WITHOUT losing ONE game!?!? Amazing.

  • Danailov is playing very dirty .Cables? So what? It could be easy planted.

I think the point was to disrupt Kramnik 's moral and to make him look badly.

  • More of that is the fact that his game is perfect in the beggining, but after game 5 something is just messed up with it... And as for Topalov being rude and Kramnik being a gentleman I have to say that Kramnik did not play a match for the title until they took it from him, and Topalov played much bether than Kramnik in his match against Anand... Topalov is a gentleman too, but chess is not about being gentle... It is about winning...

  • I think that Kramnik cheated, because there were cables in both bathrooms, also you need just a needle to connect, and the sealing was removable. Also, if Kramnik didn't need that toilet he would have played the fifth game... Kramnik and his crew were notified or the search, and there was a specific warning before the start of the match that there should not be cables in the toilet! The building was build specificaly for the match, so the argument that the cables just had to pass is a lie...

  • @amenslemirii Kramnik beat Kasparov in a long match, and Kasparov is the best of all time! Kramnik doesnt need a computer! Also, Kramnik has played matches with chess programs and most of them were draws! If the computer is not better than Kramnik, why would he use one? Also, you dont need cables to run a chess program, laptops and other devices have batteries! You dont need to be online to run chess programs either! Also, learn to spell! Its ceiling not sealing! LOL

  • @kakashi76767

mistakes happen, I am not from a country that speaks english... Kramnik beat Kasparov in a long match, long time ago... And since I am semipro at chess (my rating is 1821 FIDE, and son I will be receiving a diploma for chess coach from NSA Sofia) I can tell that everyone(!) at level 2200 and above absolutely needs a PC! But online you can recieve the ancuer from someone who has the position analysed on a powerful PC, one that can not be hidden on a small space.

  • @amenslemirii what do you mean that everyone at level 2200 and above absolutely needs a PC? are you saying everyone at level 2200 and above cheats?

  • @warblerab No, I mean that everyone above 2200 ses PC to prepare themselves for tournament games, to view training sessions and more.

  • cuz i don't think he did

  • so did he cheat?

  • Why is everyone ignoring the fact that he's ugly?

  • Someone below me said topalov plays exciting attacking chess. what? Topalov plays garbage chess and it is a gross crime against humanity to equate that piece of shit with the likes of Alekhine, Fischer, Tal etc

  • "cables in the bathroom?" dickheads!

  • Well. the more I know about Kramnik the more I see he's a really good guy, even if he's more of a drawish chess player ha. But yeah he's obviously a great chess player with a lot more character than Topalov.

  • Typical Bulgarian reaction! We always have to blame someone for our failures or unseccess!

  • lol Kramnik has no need to cheat

  • I saw dis guy playging mario brothers 3......it izs clear he is cheating.......

  • I get so tired of people saying this or that player is garbage or a cheat. You don't get to the top because you are garbage. Plain and simple.

  • i think kramnik cheated

  • @Knightedmagi actually there are 10 to the 120th possible games according to Kasparov more than the number of atoms in the universe(10 to the 80th)

  • @Kasparovwannabe i dont think it was kasparov who calculated that but there are theoretically an infinite amount of possible games and 10^120 unique positions that can be reached in them.

  • He could've just said it was his Ipod

  • secret police!?? don't they know the secret police is mafia?

  • Analyse Kramnik's games and you will see that he plays like a human, not like a computer.

  • kramnik visited bathroom 50 times per game of 60 moves how do you explain that :) he is cheater and topalov is the best player everybody knows that it is a shame for cramnik he is not gentlemen he is liar and used computer software assistance

  • @x33mmm

sure he did, we all believe you,..... yawn

  • @x33mmm If Topalov is the best player explain why Carlsen is the number one player in the world, and Anand is still the world champion.

  • @moviecritic6 carlsen and anand are very good too carlsen is very sharp and has been training a lot he is like kramnik defensive style , vishy is also sharp but topalov is the only player in the world with this style all for win he is like kasparov , tal he is the most interesting player he wins some and loses some but never plays like a pussy-a thing that kramnik , carlsen , aronian do people like topalov , ivanchuk , nakamura they make the chess interesting to the public do u understand :)

  • @x33mmm Ok, we get it, You hate Kramnik. Want a cookie?

  • @Joeyboots80 i dont hate kramnik but i dont like his style of play very boring i prefer kasparov , tal , fiischer , alekhine , topalov more extreme and atacking :)

  • @x33mmm A lot of players today like to play it safe. It's a shame we don't get any exciting attacking chess games anymore these days.

  • @moviecritic6 of course thats why i like alekhine , fischer , kasparov , tal and topalov more than the others :)

  • @x33mmm it sounds like you are one of those beginners who cant appreciate a chess game where the queens have been traded or a piece hasnt been sacrificed.

  • @chumbucket843 i am not a beginner i am master of fide my rating is 2237 we can easily play on playchess if u want and if you dare ?

  • kramnik visited the bathroom 50 times per game of 60 moves how will you explain that :) kramnik the greatest cheater

  • I've found a cable in my bathroom. I've started pulling on it and it felt good...

  • @vanilaish LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I've found a cable in my bathroom. I've started pulling on it and it felt good...

  • Topalov and his cronies are appauling people.

  • They found some cables?? ...so? wtf can you do with some cables? did they find a fucking iphone running a program on it taped under the sink? No.

  • @xxxIronLeexxx Cables, or tables? Like maybe he was playing variations all over on a board?

  • @Shuffleking74 No they said they found cables, and they didn't say what type of cables (usb cables, firwire cables, network cables etc.) in the bathroom. Not sure what you can do with cables, and it doesn't prove anything anyway.

  • B.U.L.L.S.H.*.T .. i mean, a chess player in the top 5 world ranking cheats?? i dont think a man of this status cheats...Kramnik is a great chess GM..they found some cables that both he & Topalov shared but we dont wear Kramnik running his mouth like a lil btch..this is all one big false accusation..the way i see it, Topalov owes him a sincere apology.

whtever it is, hes got a very very strong russian accent.

  • @enzoslr fking typo: ***we dont HEAR Kramnik running his mouth.....

  • "This is absolutely unnaceptable for me and I will never accept it" Kramnik

  • Its obvious by what a geeky wanker he is that he is a chess genius.

  • Topalov just hates the fact that his Bulgarian and not Russian.

  • Topalov is a whiner... and there is strong evidence that Topalov cheats by getting signals from Danailov

  • Danailov and topalovs team are bastards!

  • luuuuuuuuuuuv his english!

  • "unethical" is indeed the correct word.

thank you GM Kramnik for the interview!

Accusations of cheating to top GMs like this is just ridiculous.

  • lol, Kramnik>Topalov by a tiny amount,

  • kramnik didn't cheat, this is pathetic. sh0ws topalovs true nature

  • How about using a catheter and colostomy bag to insure no more allegations?

  • Kramnik beat kasparov before computers were really stronger than humans, so he was unlikely to have used them then, and if he can beat kasparov without computers he can sure beat topalov.

    Its very silly

  • Topalov should ditch Danailov. He doesn't need that shady, mafioso type hanging to his shirt sleeves. In fact, chess doesn't need or want Danailov.

  • Kramnik is one of the best chess players of the world,he wouldnt cheat,

Buying that makes YOU the moron.

  • @iDraw3G

FYI DUMBASS, NOT denying something is NOT EQUAL TO admitting to doing it, you fucking shitforbrains

  • Comment removed

  • bullshit kramnik doesnt need this

  • Thank you for posting this video. I appreciate it. I doubt if Kramnik cheated, at the level of World Championship play it seems unlikely. Of course that is just my opinion.

  • I dont believe that,

Topalov has to shut up, Kramnik just cracked his nuts, he's fucked up.

  • Kasparov is a cheater not Kramnik.Kasparov took a move back in a game against Judit Polgar and the arbiteer did nothing.

  • @gammyhorse to be fair to the arbiteer it took high speed cameras to see that his fingers left the piece for a spilt second (something like 0.2 second) and he would have to have been right there to see it other wise it would be her word against his

  • as long polgar didnt say something its o.k her problem

  • Look at the games WITH a computer TODAY kramnik made more mistakes than Topolov! They both made mistakes, even when Kramnik used the bathroom a lot.

Like other guy said, was he cheating when he blundered a few times in a row (one of the last he allows a mate) Topo missed the mate, too bad, this level of competition nerves can kill you. and make you do crazy things like accuse ppl and also go to the bathroom a lot.

  • you are not 100% sure at all. that would be impossible. at the top end of sport/competition cheating is rife...look at football or cycling. when the stakes are high some will do whatever it takes, and i for one dont see why the idea of krammnik cheating is so absurd. do any of you know him personally? i wonder.

  • im 100 percent sure that no one of the top-player is cheating

  • did he cheat with against that match against Fritz when he got mated in one?

  • Kramnik is not a cheater

  • obviously kramnik did not cheat, and he is not a cheater. he is just simply the best. though i don't like his style of playing, i like topalov's style more. but i think kramnik is a more professional in behavior.he is simply good, ever since he started to play chess, the only non-titled to ever play in a world olympia with the russian team during his teens..

  • i play somewhat similar to him, im better though

  • Topalov was afraid and always will when he hears kramnik's name.

In front of him there is nothing more than THE man that defeated the best player ever in a match.

So what got Topalov has to do now?

Same thing that only bad losers do:

    False accusation, lies and bluff....

    .

    Kramnik is the best

  • I guess paranoia is part of being a chessplayer, which is explains why even very strong players sometimes make outrageous accusations.

  • couldnt people just cheat by memorizing all the possibilities that rybka suggests or fritz just studying it like any other thing move by move, then ul c the moves in tournament and recognize it it could take mayb a few years but i think its possible

  • HAHAHAHA I would love to see someone try. There are are millions upon millions of combinations. There is not a human alive with the ability to remember and be able to play every combination even if you just play the most common opening lines.

  • @Fukkensaved And it would not be cheating if you could remember them anyway. Memorisation of lines is part of the game at any higher level.

  • @Fukkensaved

    How about Gary Kasparov?

  • @philnoll tut tut tut tut...naughty boys!

  • @NODDYFISCHER

OH? And what's so Naughty about it?

  • @pAbedaNSK Well that might be a bit difficult because there are more game-trees of chess than the number of galaxies (100+ billion).

And there are 72,084 positions possible after two moves apiece

  • Kramnik is a gentleman, he is graceful even in defeat...after losing to Anand the World Championship he was nice enough to shake anand hands with grace and a smile.

His behaivoir off the board is full of class and sportsmanship.

  • @BiggCojones Seriously man, Even a mental amateur shakes hands after losing.

And anyway, Kramnik is just a fucking cheater, nowhere near a gentleman

  • @brunobrazda I guess Topalov is less than a "mental amateur"

  • rofl, make a hole in the cealing... AHAH

  • lol i dont get why people even would cheat, wouldnt that result in a permanent ban from competitive play, im sure kramnik didnt cheat

  • topalov is a disgrace.

  • "it's such a nonsense" i loled at that. ofc the accusation is baseless.

  • anand kicks all

  • Topalov is an idiot along with his retarded manager, Danailov. Topalov should have been banned 5 years from chess after Elistra.

  • Topalov is better than him in every aspect of a game,Kasparov too.Kramnik didnt want revenge with Kasparov because he knew his victory in London was fluke.Leko manhandled him in the match but he didnt utilise the advantage in the last game of a match.Kramnik is a liar and manipulator,he should have picked politic instead of chess.

  • maybe he wanted to connect to ICC during the game ;)

  • hahahahahaha

  • This is ridiculous. Kramnik is one of the best players ever. This accusation is, I guess, old Soviet-style psychological war.

  • yes he is the best player

  • Why only Soviet ?It also fits the Zionist controlled American media.

  • @fgdilly i believe Topalov is Bulgarian.

  • @fgdilly still he could have cheated because he was weaker than topalov.. i think he cheated...

  • the first 2 games he spended in the toilet.

Then Putin "asked" Ilumjinov for a "check" during the game! Remember?

and 1/2 min to connect to cable?

this one is such a bulshitter really....

  • connect to cable internet?

cable what i dont get it.

maybe he had a hand held chess analyser or a portable chess computer, is that the accusation?

I should bring rybka 3 to my next tourney ;]

  • I knew they would catch him one day! :)

  • Who is this DUMBASS asking the questions?..

  • The interviewer sounds like Fredrick Feidel to me.

  • "Chit chis chapsolutely unnachseptable chen I vill never chackcept it." LOL

  • So sad making fun of his accent. Look at the amount of knowledge he has on English. Even be happy it is not in Russian, now you can at least enjoy the movie!

    Do you speak Russian?

May be Spanish, but probably also with a horrible accent.

  • bull

  • Its not like some dweeb off he street suddenly became a grand master! lol...Kramnik has been around and is known as a good player. I echo "dgrakovsky" with his comment. Kramnik is classy to sit and be attacked and accused like this and still be so gracious. This man is a great chess player who should be respected so much more than this. Imagine if they asked Kasparov ,Fischer or any other GM this kind of stupid question. Wasted everyone time.. I would have asked him how to improve my chess !

  • Kramnik is not cheating! This is bullshit!

  • Kamsky has a miserable record against Topalov since his comeback.i dont think Kamsky has won a single game.He will be defeated.

  • Just wait for Carlsen......He will be the new leader soon. I hope.

  • Carlsen just went to the top! World number one!!

  • yes, only 3 days on live icc ladder, but it wont be too long.

    i await carlsen v naka

  • Thanks for posting. Kramnik is a gentleman and has always been one.

    Who is doing the interviewing?

  • Frederic Friedel from Chessbase is the interviewer in this video.

  • I agree with chessnut333: hopefully Kamsky beats that idiot Topalov.

  • Deep blue teamed up with Kramnik to beat Kasparov.

  • Total bush league move by Topalov and his manager.

  • Topalov And Danialov are lying sacks of shit. It was so obvious that Kramnik wasn't cheating to anyone who has a reasonable understanding of chess which is the reason an untold number of Grandmasters spoke out in condemnation of the unethical behavior of Topalov and camp. P.S. i hope Kamsky crushes him in their upcoming match as Topalov has shown himself completely unworthy of playing for the highest title

  • true lol

  • Topalov and Danialov are Bib babys.Danialov Looks like a bitch always bitchen
