gwyneddgrl I also do irish dance and it's not a rip off. Remember that this is a show, not a tradtitional ceili put together onstage, or a dance feis! The steps are along the same line as what's in Lord of the Dance. The majority is traditional Irish dance, with a little of modern.Also, this here is the troupe from Ireland, costumes are different in the Australian troupe and tour! Great, catchy music, there's a good story line to it, a must see!

Hi Chase1455 I agree this show is the baby, but wait until this show hits Australia in a few weeks time, its fast its the best and with the best dancers in the world this show has what it takes good music, the best of dancers it has what Riverdance does not have its Desire long live Desire and hail to king Lir, Best of luck to Skippy, Maria and all the dance troupe from Danny Ballybunion.

I'd like to see it, because of one guy: Cian Nolan. But is it only me that feels that the all new Irish dance shows getting not 'sexier' but more trashy..?

OMG! please tell me that one of the main characters and the guy in blue shirt (or whatever) is Cian Nolan!! He's my favorite irish dancer :-)

Yes that IS Cian Nolan. I saw him in this show when it first opened, he was brilliant.

according to the official webiste - apparently a DVD and video will be available shortly - however it has said that for at least a year now. I have the CD which I managed to get from ebay but would love to see the show on DVD as well.

Dont think so, this is the full length trailer that was then used to make a number of shorter web/TV trailers to promote the show, but I dont think that there is a DVD in the works.
