I dont know what 3.8 liter you have in this car,maybe the Luminas where you live are way different,but I have a 1998 Lumina LTZ that halls balls,idk whats wrong with yours.

well the 0-60mph was like around 7 secs, so i say no it's not slower than a corrolla. plus those series II 3.8 can almost match the corrolla mpg on highway, its about 30.. well in real life around 28 cuase of wind and shit like that

My car goes form 0- 100 km/h in about 9 sec also I was not able to pass Honda Accord v4 2008 model on highway today. F^#$%$% this what I think about this awful car

that's weird cuz we have a 1992 lumina and we haven't done any maintenance to it for 2 years maybe even more, and the car sounds like crap, very loud and lots of rattling, but hell it's never stalled out on me, very impressive car for an american car, i guess the later ones just suck though.

The car can go more than this but because the performance of Lumina v6 3.8 is so slow it needs more time to reach top speed but it will do it also I reached the end of the road so that was the result. GOOD thing that they (GM) stop making this awful car.

well actually, it was an australian made car... it was known here as the holden commodore... i have one hehehe, but that model was just one of the models they released over the years, they are the sort of car suited to australian roads

What is the red line for on your speedometer? Also, what did the light mean? I have a Lumina too, only it's an older 1992 Lumina.

120km indication that it will give you alarm over speed when you reach the red line in speedometer this car is made by Holden in Australia owned by GM and named Lumina to be soled in GCC
